1000% TRUTH! It is very similar to the world of Emergency Service... no matter which you are in, polic, fire, and EMS. I have been there, done that, and I have the T shirts and scars to prove it. When a girlfriend and I would became "serious", I would make it very clear... I am a paramedic, this is what I do, and who I am, crazy schedule and all, and I AM NOT GOING TO CHANGE FOR YOU OR ANYONE ELSE deal with it... or dont. Stress depression, dark times all. If you are going to be my ride or die, lets do this. If not lets part friends now, rather divorced later... this July I will be married 30 years with two positively incredible children.
