THE RITUAL

Hey guys, this is my project for Jama Jurabaev's Concept Art For Movies class. I made this over the course of the 5 week class plus an extra week at the end to refine it. It also contains a small teaser of the upcoming QuickTools addons that Jama and I are developing together. Please let me know what you think!
You can see more of my process on Artstation including sketches and raw renders:

Amazing work and amazing tools, especially QuickShape. You brought 3dCoat hard surface sketch into Blender...so it seems. I have dreamed of such a thing for a long time. Pixologic, for hardsurface modelling, should look at this. Zbrush is wonderful but for hard surface it is in this direction that it should evolve --> simplification, speed, sketching, concept...and instead they are stuck in the classic low poly paradigm (Zmodeler)...for now at least...or inultilely complicated tools (Project primitive).

Hey man! I love these tools, how did you manage to get the detail on the huts to follow the shape of the huts? I can't figure that out 😂👍

Amazing work as Usual, first time i knew about you it was because of QuickDraw addon (amazing) and i lost the name of the addon so i wasn't able to find your channel again, i just suscribed! I'm back into blender since 2 days ago and already rewatching and re-learning Heavypoly/Jama Jurabaev/etc.. full courses and adding your work to the list will make my knowledge even more complete (i'm a beginer). Do you have video tutorials/timelaps/narrative real-time work/techniques videos to buy/watch? Great work on this video (and that last art.... stunning, so atmospheric)

Man I’ve been trying to paint my sculpt using photo stencils the way you did for the faces. How did you do it? Did you have to retopo all the sculptures?
