I could easily see him in the same leadership role that Yul was on during WAW. They're both very charismatic winners.

I think Tom was just seen as too much of a threat in the long run. It’s too bad he and Cirie went after one another instead of working together.

Don’t know if this is a hot take or not, but even though he didn’t last long on HvV, Tom showed me enough on that season that as a player he’s definitely up there with the best! He probably makes my top 10 players list for sure!

Great winner. The ‘problem’ with Tom is that he had such a dominant performance in season 10 that no one would’ve dared to bring him to FTC. He would’ve been knocked out sooner or later in H vs V. I only wish he and Cirie had teamed up instead of targeting one another.

He could’ve gone out first in HvV and another season thereafter and it still wouldn’t have tarnished his reputation as one of the most impressive, well-rounded, and dominant winners in the series history.

If Tom was there instead of James to be that voice of reason for JT like he was with Ian, who knows what could've happened.

Tom is definitely my favorite winner hands down, I was the least bit happy when he got picked off so early on in HvV 😅

Bro that sumo challenge... the editors REALLY wanted to bury them like holy hell. They made all the guys look SO unlikeable and 'boys club'-y that Jerri's little eye roll and shake of the head was so relatable.

I didn't really care for Tom in Palau, but there's no denying he played one of the best games of all time. Top five game for me.

He’s one of my favorite winners. I was so disappointed he didn’t get far in HvV. I wanted to see Tom and Russell interact 😭

Loved Tom in his first season and was disappointed with how his game went in HvV. Same with Stephanie. Both got screwed over because of James somehow

Tom was great in challenges and I wish he had the opportunity to pick Stephanie before Bobby John did. I also wish that Tom didn’t take the option of changing camps

Watching back Palau is interesting. In the first watch I agreed with the narrative that all of the dominate tribe were the good guys and fun and rootable. On a rewatch... most of them rub me the wrong way, Tom in particular.

May I suggest watching one season of the rise and fall, then coming back later to watch the other season? I make what the patrons pick, and they like these multi season videos.
