Next Righteous Brothers reaction should definitely be Soul and Inspiration. It was written as a follow-up to the success of this song by the same writers, features the beautiful harmonies of both "brothers", and peaked at #1 for three straight weeks in 1966. i totaly agree about the harmonies. Its like Agnetha and Frida in ABBA. Sometimes it wouldn't be the same if the harmony wasn't there

This video is a treasure,never seen it. The Dynamic Duo never disappoints! To me the greatest duo ever Had many very good songs. Soul and Inspiration Just once in my life, Hung on You, Ebb Tide, Unchained Melody. They were on 🔥🔥🔥 FIRE doing Little Latin Lupe Lu and The Nightime is the Right Time with the Blossoms.

I had heard that story but I hadn't heard that it was a Marine that named them. The Everly Brothers both dropped their singing careers to Join the Marines. Another Set of musical Brothers you can check out. "Wake up Little Susie" was one of their popular ones.

It was the most recorded song in the 20th Century. Actually, if I recall they are only a month or two apart in age, and I THINK Bobby is the elder. You used a different video than everyone else used, but it seemed every bit as good as the other. Check out them singing the Rogers and Hammerstein hit (written for the musical Carousel) You'll Never Walk Alone.

In the day (60's) these two guys were the best. You need to listen to the original duo - Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield, on the Andy Williams show.
