As usual, the tears started to fall the minute I heard the first notes. I’ve always loved this song. I sang it in concert with my HS glee club in the 60s. It was one of my mom’s favorite songs and brings back so many memories.

Their hair is righteous too,. That was back when hair cream ruled.

Definitely don't disappoint! They were on 🔥🔥🔥 FIRE with the Blossoms( Darlene Love of the Crystals later) was there). Highly recommend it. Huge fan from 64 the start. Bill Medley is 82 still performing tho with Bucky Heard, Bobby Hatfield passed in 2003. Big loss for fans of his great music

Love how you get this incredible talent duo. You'll love hearing the songs mentioned by the commenters below like Bill singing lead on the earlier blues record of "I Wanna Make Love To You" and from 2 yrs of the Righteous Brothers b/w videos being regulars on the TV show Shindig, Bobby tears it up singing "Summertime". Later Bill made a record by himself that he sang on the Playboy After Dark TV show with The Blossoms "Brown Eyed Woman" & he sings it with feeling as he was in a relationship at the time with one of the Blossoms. Bobby's amazing voice solos on many records like "Ebbtide", "Stay With Me Baby", "Wish I Didn't Love You So" & "What's The Matter Baby". Can't go wrong falling into the Righteous Brothers rabbit hole.

Back in the 1960's we used to refer to their harmonies as peanut butter and jelly. Peanut butter is great by itself and so is jelly....but when you combine the two, it creates a whole new stratus.

And the musical accompaniment is always on point - that piano though .... amazing playing. I love the bows at the end, respecting the audience for listening. Even the rockers used to do that in the old days.

It was s number 1 for Gerry and the, Pacemakers back in the 60s not as good as this great version. Magnificent.

Bill, dark hair, lower voice is considered a baritone, with an excellent range of notes he can sing, probably 2+ octaves,,, Bobby, blond hair, has an unusual range, it is called a counter or contra tenor, he has almost 4 octaves of range, maybe a bit more, before he would go into falsetto. Few people in millions have that, ask the opera people if you are interested.

This song was written in 1945 by Oscar Hammerstein who was a great songwriter. Was covered over 400 times I believe. I am so into music. All kinds. Love ur show and does not hurt ur easy on the eyes!. 😉

Did you ever think WHY such songs are not being written and sung today? Because you young people are not demanding the record companies produce these type artists and sings, with your buying power.

Back then, men, women, young and old loved them…their music…and their vibe. However, if I was 20 years old now, I’m not sure what I’d think of them?
