As a Dad it breaks my heart to look at the young faces. I've got sons older than most of these young lads. But as a Vet that same heart swells with pride to think we can still turn out magnificent soldiers like these; heroes each and every one of them in my estimation.

Will be a rifleman very soon, and will be an honor to do my very best to uphold these mens legacy and do the rifles proud. RIP to all of the fallen chosen men. God bless

What a lovely tribute to our brave Hero's Swift and Bold, may they shine down on us for ever, may God hold them dear and there families. Please God keep all our hero's who survived all the op herricks too. Too many came home with terrible injury's some that can be seen and some that can't. They and there family's need our prayer too xx

How true that is, our Country has a habit of forgetting the young men and women who walk into danger when all others run for cover. My father served in the light infantry, enlisted in 1942 serving through to the late 70’s with the 7th Duke of wellingtons, K.O.Y.L.I. then D.L.I. finally the 2nd L.I.

Everyone watching this. We shall remember those who died for us and their loved ones. These men shouldn't be known as soldiers they should be known as heroes and for anyone who are deployed in the frontline.

i was 2 LI for 13 years.. left 6 months before it became 3 rifles. steve campbell was a very good mate of mine, i also worked with browny, scotty, david kirkness and a couple of the others.. i will always remember them, and the great times we had.
