THE RIDGELINE
Спорт
“This is probably the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen Gee do on a bike, absolutely on the very edge of what’s possible." - Dan Atherton
Above Dyfi Bike Park, a grassy ridge runs down from a 666m summit. The views are stunning but just 2 metres to the left the land falls away, dropping hundreds of metres...
Gee said “I’ve always wanted to film here, it’s so incredibly exposed and totally unique but it's not a fun place to ride, its terrifying!"
Spectacular action from one of the world's toughest and most accomplished riders.

Right there with you. Only flying I prefer to do anymore is in my airplane. LOL Although I still compete in STOL competition at times for fun. It's all I do. The years of putting my body on the line doing stuff only half of what I just witnessed- destroyed my body! I have limited mobility in my neck, left wrist, and have a funny walk. It's safe to say I didn't have the talent, and perhaps the guts. But our equipment was also antiquated. But in the late 70s early 80s I did the mint and Frontier a few times. Tumbledown the side of more than one mountain in 4x4's, and even raced drag boats and a P-51 for a time in the mid-80s. Monster trucks in the late 80's. Never considered drag racing cars, or mud bogging high risk.🙄 Of course life on the ranch still has its risks two years ago I got struck twice by a copperhead. And last year I got gored through the neck by a bull. Pushed across the ground 15 ft with the horn still stuck firmly in my neck and it stepping on my rib cage busting and cracking ribs all way. Only to have it release and come back at me as I rolled to the side, but then a horn grab the hood of my jacket and flung me in the air about 10 ft. Fortunately there were three others there to distract the bull as I landed on my feet and ran for the fence. 🐂🏞️🤠

Really enjoy watching a set of jumps where simply clearing them is the highlight, not a barspin or tailwhip or 3'. Tricks are very cool and impressive and I cannot do them, but it's also great to just watch simply cleaning a jumpline fully tapped. Magnificent.
