Everyone is a winner at the end of the TCR... who gets first there ... ¡? I hope a woman... (Anna ? I think Lael Wilcox is ridding, maybe her?)
The Brompton dude is just going to fold it and hop on a train 😂

The greek guy is on a Hercules? Love it
I never thought I'd see the day that Chas ends up on a GCN video. Absolute legend - watching him and the other Mash riders is why I started riding bikes!
I hope the brompton makes it ! That front chainring looks as big as a frisbee! Great show. The diversity of bicyclists never ceases to amaze ! We are a weird and wacky lot ! 💀

Fantastic video as always! The stories and setups of the riders are so fascinating and amazing! Hats off to Katherine and the participants of the TCR.
Thank you for that glimpse of participants and their equipment. I would have watch through to the end had you chosen to interview all the riders. Their stories, their bikes, motivations and ingenuity are endlessly fascinating. Keep up the great coverage.

Great to have some attention given to these amazing riders and their bikes. Hoping for a lot more of videos as the race proceeds. May all the competitors achieve their goals and most importantly stay safe and well.

Excellent! I really enjoy meeting the individual riders and hearing the stories. It makes "following the dots" much more meaningful. In fact, a Part II with more riders would be heartily welcomed. Well done Katherine. I appreciate your unpretentious approach and your gift for insightful interviewing. More, please.

Loved seeing all the riders and their bikes. Great stuff, hope to see more!
This is my dream, I shall do something like this one day, it just seems such great fun!
This was a very good piece. I never heard of this event. The interviews that you did with the riders from different places around the world were fun to watch. Especially with the two from San Francisco, close to where I live. Truely a International event. I'll stay tuned to GCN for race updates.

wow #158 great custom jobbies
It is special to see riders that I met on TCR giving interviews :) Also that corner where there was bike check by mechanics on both TCR5 and TCR6

Interesting, I always thought Hercules was a German brand, probably because there were so many Hercules bikes around in Germany when I was a kid...also nice to see that the riders of this race don't always have/need/want the latest and greatest gear, shows you can have fun on a bike with a Tiagra groupset :)
@tecnociclista5342

ah, just did some googleing, there is actually a German brand of the same name :) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hercules_(motorcycle)
The bike around the 4:15 mark is a real beauty - even more amazing that it's handmade. Would love a more in-depth look at it, preferably w/o all the luggage/stickers.
No sock length bullshit with these dudes. 💪💪💪. Great stuff 👍👍

# 2 looks determined to win. 256 A and B will never run out of light - at least. Luck to the ladies - very brave.
I'm doing the TCR next year with a bike made by my mate Stan(big shout out to him) in a shed at his allotment. It's made from recycled copper water pipes from my local plumber(big shout out to him) modified with a hydroelectric power plant to charge my Di2 and tied together with natural hemp. My Grandmother Eileen(big shout out to her) has knitted me some bike bags and a 2 sizes to small jersey out of my late Grandfathers jumpers... All I need now is to grow a beard and get some pork pies for fuel....reckon I'll be cooler than anyone at this year's race😂 Seriously though, great feature GCN👍🏻
This Dresden-specific accent is absolutly impressive. Like how did he learn english without loosing any of it. Greetings from a Dresdener
Please do a video on the Front-hub Dynamo and charging systems that are possible !
