The part about Western audience not thinking a year is a long time for a comeback, I totally agree. Last year people were already saying things like "Is Blackpink disbanding? This hiatus is so long!!! They need a comeback ASAP!!" And yet I was like "didn't they just come out with an album last year??" I have been a kpop fan since 2013. But after stanning Blackpink, I realized something that I have never been before. You don't have to interact with other blinks, you don't have to show the world you are a blink, as long as you love them equally, you can be the best blink ever in the whole fandom. I started stanning them and I was also thirsty for their contents. But i never gave up. I stopped being a multifan. Recently, there are lots of mess, contriversies surrounding them. i was so sad about the mistreatment but i still keep supporting them like before. There was no change. I am still a loyal blink. supporting them is cool and all but like I personally refuse to legally listen to their music. it mainly supports YG and honestly supporting that shit company isn't what I want. does it mean I am not a real blink? no, I support them, I think they're great people and deserve their fame but I'm not gonna stream their music on any platform unless it's illegal, cause I don't think giving YG money is good. ofc, other people feel otherwise and that's fine too. just don't think anyone really wants to support YG

I wasn't a fan of any k-pop group nor songs before, yet I could easily fall in love with Blackpink. I keep questioning myself what's different about these girls, why do I love them, and this video perfectly explains it. Hats off to YG for finding these talented, beautiful, and charismatics girls. p.s. Even though I love Jisoo the most, I do like all of the girls. They are perfect together.

it's funny cause I first saw BTS at the bbmas and couldn't understand why ppl loved to listen to a language they couldn't understand. Then I relistened to them few months later and went crazy. I'd heard of Blackpink but refused to listen to any other kpop group except for BTS. A friend showed me a clip of Jennie in one of their vlives in 2019 and I became curious so I watched KTL and boom. They had me. Now I listen to them more than I do BTS. Hell, I got an instagram and twt just to keep up with what they're doing. #noregrets

I was not fan of kpop but when BLACKPINK came they made me to love At that movement onwards I love e.

She always rises at the top because when bad people try to break you down, God helps you to rise above. I love Jennie since their debut and I always pray for her safety, health, happiness and success. This girl inspires me so much❤

you need to update this as alot has happened over the past year. For me being a 56 year old american male, the main reason I follow them is Jisoo. We share the same personality and it is that connection that makes me watch their videos and content as much as possible. I think that each of the 4 girls being completely different personality types has so much to do with their success because everybody can relate to at least one of them.

It’s a YG thing. YG don’t let their artists attend shows that will downplay his artists worth. It started with BIGBANG. And then all YG artists follow. And then SM too stop sending his artists. YG said it before, if they want to give award just give it. But those shows (award shows demand for free performance) and if they don’t attend they will give the award to other artists which is bs. That’s why you rarely see them.
