I said my shahada just over 30 years ago in the same mosque as sister Aisha, alhamdulillah. I find her a very strong woman and her strength of iman is a model for all of us.

My neighbour is a doctor. She doesn't wear it during consultation. But she wears it when she goes out for non work related occasions. My sister In law who is a doctor too, was that way. But recently with the covid-19. She wears the niqab even in the hospital. She has this "mask-niqab" combination which is very effective. May Allah reward all the sisters who are struggling with the niqab and scarf and make their path easy.

That's just empty promises, lies and pretty fairy tales to turn Muslims into fearless warriors - the biggest fraud ever, which you pay for with your whole life. The securalistic life is all you have. And it's partially your decision if it is heaven or hell. Therefore "being good" and respecting others is a very reasonable thing to do. I have to show quite something, but not senseless religious exercises but very practical help for others.

Islam is the fastest growing religion in the West. Nevertheless, the West has many stereotypes and misconceptions about Islam that are due to the media, prejudice, and ignorance. The subject must be taught by Muslims. The beauty of Islam is that it is a religion which appeals to common sense. There is no blind belief or dogmatism in Islam. The fundamentals of Islam are simple, straightforward and easy to understand. If Islam is so bad, then why is it the WORLD’S FASTEST GROWING RELIGION! It is also one of the youngest religions. However no matter how hard everyone tries to give Islam a bad name, it will be twice as more populated. So let’s get straight to the point yeah?, Basically Islam is the most hated religion I don’t know why hmm maybe because it is also the most fastest growing religion and 2nd largest but no one will be able to stop this religion from growing. Islam is the fastest growing faith in Britain. Hundreds and thousands of Brits are reverting to Islam. Many muslim countries have the technology,medicine and science the west have but you legit cannot find anything to pick on so you pick on Muslim countries which the vast majority dont have good leaders anyway but the muslims in those countries are highly intelligent people so please dont doubt them. @@al.345 Until the 14th century the islamic world was collecting and translating some findings from the antique (greek, roman), while the western/christian world still was in the process of recovering from the dark (post-roman) ages. Also it was the islamic world which adopted the indian numbers and mathematic knowledge. And they contributed some architectural arts. However, since the 15th century the islamic world did not develop any further, while knowledge and science exploded in the western (European and later on American) hemisphere. As with the industrial revolution (1850 and later) the islamic world was no longer existent in science and technology. Not a single(!) importand invention, discovery or scientific progress was made by an islamic scientist. Not metallurgy, not electricity, not chemistry, not combustion engines, not information technologies (from telegraph to internet), not vaccinaton, not antibiotics. And still today the whole arabic world (1.2 billion people) has less than 10k book publishings a year. Just in german language (0.1 billion people) it's about 20 times more. 500+ years of a complete failure! Just religious eagerness and preparation for a (much too early) death. Time to wake up!

Jump in with both feet. It’s a bit of a struggle at first. Maybe you’ll be a bad Muslim, but you’ll be a Muslim and that’s enough. I went back and forth for a couple years but until the pain of separation from Allah became greater than my doubt. If your heart is reaching out to Allah, you are most of the way there. Take the shahada, online if you have to, then read read read until you know the basics by heart. Don’t get to caught up in the niggling rows. We all agree on the most important things. Don’t be discouraged by failure. Born Muslims are always going on and off the path. You are in a relationship with Allah that will be forever. That’s what matters. That relationship will grow as you nourish it. You will never be perfect. Muslim have sought perfection for all their lives generation after generation and few achieve it. We are defined by the struggle, not the end. And as a Scot to another Scot, you will never lose that. We are who our history makes us, for all its strengths and weaknesses. The first generation of Muslims reconciled being Muslims and being Arabs. We are doing the same.

Some people think it is a religious obligation based on their interpretation and therefore they are obeying Allah. Others think it's better to wear niqab although not an obligation and therefore it's something that's pleasing to Allah. So it's an act of worship for the Sake of Allah. Generally Muslim women prefer to conceal beauty out of modesty and don't want to be scrutinised for how they look.

Generally for more modesty and a big reason behind it and a really good way of looking at it is their not being judged for their physical appearance which is an issue a lot of women face and dont like, her wearing a niqab takes away that issue and she's only being judged for her personality and character.
