The Revealing Eye - Shell Films (1960)

Many scientific phenomena, which by the speed or complexity of their movement escape the human eye, can be revealed by the motion picture camera. This film draws upon both historic and more recent footage to show some of the ways in which cinematography has given a new insight into the world around us.

My acquaintance, Walter Storey, of Alston, Cumbria, was involved in the making of this piece. I'm sure he's too modest to put his name to it!

Shell Films? Was that some kind of sub group that made these types of films? Also, on a side note, where did you come across this? research? A database? Great share thank you!

Giulio Latini's Immagini del mondo:Breve Storia del Cinema d'Impresa is the best study on Corporate Cinema containing this and many other titles. An english translation of the book is in the pipeline.
