Never owned a big Z. But god, it’s great to see them being ridden. Especially this view because you can read the clocks, it’s like actually riding the bike. Takes me right back to when I had a 32 inch waist and long hair. Thanx for sharing

I had my 1978 z1000 going 200 kmh. Stupidly fast, and will not try that again. But the Z Series have my heart forever 😀

I had a Z1R, a few light mods and it used to fly. 148mph on the clock on several occasions, yes I know the speedo was being optimistic but it's got to have been a good 130 ish mph. Mad days.. ..

The speedometer showed you were going 180 kph, so I had to look up a conversion table. The bike was going 112 mph !!!

Hi Kare Skak, thanks a lot for your comment, which is highly appreciated. In order to add the speedo to your footage, you have to activate GPS on your GoPro. Then data is caputered while filming. You have to import the raw footage into the GoPro Quik App which allows you to add GPS data, like the speedo, a G-force implikator, etc. PS: Glad that you like the music ;-) Have a great day and ride safely!!

Nice vid but like in another clip from you, the sound is... I hate to say that ... but it is kind of crap. I like the music, i like the engine and wind sound and I like your comment. But i dont like to hear all on the same level. Makes me crazy.

Thx, mixing sound is not that easy, have you ever tried it yourself? This isn't a professional production, rather a hobby... I do not have enough time to put loads of it into audio quality, but I'll try to pay more attention to that in the future... so thanks for your remark, but if you have problems understanding what I say, turn on the subtitles 😉

I would rather hear the sound of the engine than the music.

I just watched two of your videos and was wondering if you actually ever rode a KZ1300??? I bought one used with 2600 km on it and it was kept inside all its life. I left just east of Laramie Wyoming and 6:25 later I was pulling into Des Moines Iowa with a hitchhiker. That's 680 miles. I was cruising HWY 11 to Ottawa and went by an OPP that pulled out to the edge of the hwy as I went by at 285 kph cause I backed off about 10 k and said to hell with it if he's coming it's already too late. I just raised my fingers up from the handle and kept it where I was at. It was a big curve and that hwy is our autoboun. I looked back and he turned off his lights and didn't even pull out. So when you talk all the good points and show a guy doing a 120-130 mph you can only do about 150 mph laying flat on the tank. After I put a windshield on her it was no problem getting a true 176-179 mph and I was afraid the front wheel was getting pretty light. With the wind at my back on I 35 in Oklahoma, I was doing 305 -308 for a quick shot. So get your facts straight on one of the best bikes of the time. If anyone wants to lose some money I still have the old girl. The only bike stock that could beat me was the V65. That thing is a monster.

Funny, that you noticed this detail, much respect 👍 !! That is one of the few things, that is not quite right about this bike... the neutral light won't switch off, no matter which gear you are in... but besides that, almost everything else works really well... 😉 💚
