@@calebwhalespiers keeps trying to push the “woke mob” thing and yeah, it was pretty big 2014-2016 timeframe but it IS dying out now like Tim said (for comedians at least). When you have a following, they really don’t care if someone tries to “cancel” you if they don’t subscribe to that mentality anyway. He made a good point it’s worse for people like professors and what not who don’t have anything to fall back on and have to play ball.
You can tell Tim misses his New York friends. Seems actually joyful doing the show lol. Great episode with a great guest.

It's not hard to get dave on a show these days, he's rich enough that he's simply begun taking 'the opportunity to punch down on people' as payment. When a dude who can afford to eat gold with every meal decides he wants people to start valuing his opinion that's when anyone with children, a mortgage, elderly or disabled family members to care for, etc should start to reach for their pitch fork because that dude can afford to knock down your local library and set up a club or conference hall for him and his buddies to discuss their values in your town and before you know it you can't even afford to live in your own town anymore.

I like how Tim has his own desk and every time he has a guest he keeps them at a safe distance and doesn't provide them with a desk. It's absolutely hilarious. It's like he assigns them to a kiddy table.

When I was a tour guide, a mentor told me the most important thing to learn is to say I DON'T KNOW. If you let your group play stump the tour guide, it's over. Just say I DON'T KNOW and move on. That was VERY hard for me. I'd have to also say I'll find out!~

We turned on vaping so quick. The first time I ever saw an ecig was in an airport terminal, some guy was just sitting there ripping away and enjoying life and nobody cared. It was briefly billed as the way you could still "smoke" indoors. Now it's equally maligned with tobacco. People are even angry about flavor additives.
