My favourite item from the shop recently is the Curiosity Box. When you think about it, it's the most logical choice : it gathers everything that makes the Art of Play universe. Intriguing items that revolve around the world of play, optical illusions, and are all about curiosity. As a big cards enthousiast, I really like the "Flea Circus Playing Cards", based on the circus universe... in the Art of Play / Jeff Trish style. And what I consider to be an absolute beauty : the ladybird dice. A very new and imaginative way to reinvent the dice, the idea seems simple and the result is crazy !

My favorite item you have from the catalog… definitely the Flyte bulb. I’ve got one sitting on my piano and every time I have company, it’s an instant “wow” conversation starter. And definitely is a highlight of all the magical things I display in my home.

For me I really love the Lumio book lamps. Such a cool and magical idea, that really expresses pure wonder and joy.

Super happy to see you guys having a show that will have constant episodes. Been following both of your journeys for an extremely long time now and yall have been such inspirations to me in my own cardistry journey. My favourite item in your catalog would definitely be the variety boxes. I do not have the luxury of buying a lot of playing cards so having more playing cards would add more colour and heterogeneity to my cardistry videos and playing card collection. Even if I do not end up winning, I still look forward to future episodes since I thoroughly enjoy watching and listening to both of you bantering and passionately talk about collectibles and interesting items :))

Yesss, have been waiting for years for Coffe with Dan&Dave! I remember that one of the last episodes back in the days was when Dave got married. I‘d love to see you do more Cardistry and magic. I love if and Octopus could palm, both the cards and the book. It was one of the reasons I started with magic and later on cardistry. The trilogy also remains to be one of my favourites of all times, just legendary. It would be a dream if you guys launch some new magic or cardistry projects or releases one day:).

I guess I could say "Slow dance" because it's like a different world that takes place in a different time than ours, and it's really fun to watch.

My favorite is definitely FLYTE! My daughter just turned one, and I love showing her the most visual stunning things I can find! When I took her to the art of play shop, that caught her eye and she stared and stared. Love the show!

Thanks for another episode and congrats to the winner of last weeks giveaway. Though I found Art of Play because of the playing cards I have since found so many items that I love it's hard to just pick one! But I will say the Lumio wooden book lamp. My dream is to at some point have a room that is a dedicated study/library and think these would be great to have the shelves/coffee table to provide some ambient lighting.

I love this show it’s slowly becoming my favorite. You guys and Chris Ramsey have put me into card collecting and puzzles. I hope to have a Flyte light some day. It would make a great conversation starter, as it evokes imagery of a classic magic levitation act. It nicely embodies Arthur C. Clarke's famous quote: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

The catalogue is so large it's difficult to choose! I think I really like the TouchMe device. The idea of becoming a human circuit and creating music based off pressure is really fascinating to me.

First, let me say I love this format. A big fan of art of play here so it's hard to choose an item but overall the home goods section is my favorite coz it adds a magical aspect to everyday objects.

I love the raw nature of these videos, it doesn’t have to be perfect. 😊 I’ve always been fascinated by floating objects since I saw Ellusionist release the floating deck years ago. So, I’d have to say Flyte, Slow dance, or the Mova spinning globe are high on the favorites list!

Great second show and great improvement! My favorite item is the skyscrapers puzzle box; it's just so cute and looks so simple and the fact that it's in the master category makes me really curious about it.

Oh my god thank you for thinking about the rest of us that can't afford expensive cards and custom decks by selling the defects. I'M BUYING. Once again Origami self folding swan is my favourite, I can fold one but to fold one and then show someone that I can fold another one instantly after that, by bouncing it in my palm that's just priceless

Hey! It was so cool to see ‘Coffee with Dan and Dave’ in the title, I remember watching those livestreams on your Dan and Dave channel a while ago. This second episode feels much more dynamic than the first! And the camera angles for everything you showed are much better (I can remember not seeing so well the effect of the rolling ring in the first episode). Maybe something you could do to improve the episodes even more is to add some chill music in the background. It’s really just a detail, but I can assure to you than the brain feels more engaged to listen and stick with you if there’s some music in the background. For the giveaway, if I had to pick an item it would be the Magic Con 2014 deck. Reminds me of when I started magic and cardistry, and where my biggest dream was to attend a Con someday.

It is amazing how one idea can become a wake-up coffee maker. It may be a simple idea, but it could also be an important tip for cardistry.

My favorite item is the dice puzzle box. It is so satisfying to solve and the design is flawless. When I saw it was out of stock the first time, I was sad, but when I saw it was in stock I had to get it right away.

The Lyfe planter and the storm glass are insane, I cannot choose between them. One is possibly the most futuristic way of having a plant and the other one is one of the oldest ways to understand the weather. This time difference overwhelms and amazes me.

After briefly looking at the catalog, my favorite item is the Buda Ball. I do not own it and it is sold out. The reason. Why it’s my favorite is because of how magical it looks to have a small orb floating and hovering. As someone who performs the mystical side of mentalism, I can come up with a way to use it in the right setting.

I love your cards so I would chose a variety box. Looking forward for the next video!!

My favorite item from Art of Play is Curiosity Box! It is stunning work, honestly. The attention to detail in all of your stuff amazes me. Particularly, I love the palm-sized book. It reminds me of when Iwas a little kid. When I was 7 years old, my mom gave me a palm-sized book. It was The Little Prince. Still one of my favorite books. ❤

I just now for the 1st time saw the MOVA Rotating Globe & that's what real magic essentially is 🌏💫🌍 🤩

Glad your show is back! =] About my favourite item, I'm a big fan of vintage matchbox designs, matchboxes combined with puzzles... can it be even better? So I'd go for 'Matchbox Puzzles', but they're sold out. My alternative pick is the 'Astronaut 3D Puzzle', simply because I love everything that has to do with space!

I just got a brick of the not so perfect $3 decks. 11 new sealed decks and 1 gilded fontaine! Thanks! I like the slow dance because it seems impossible, and is mesmerizing to look at!

I loved the mechanical hand automata that was presented in the first episode, have always been interested in these handcrafted items. I think the Handmade Praxinoscope looks very vintage and cool as well.

It’s hard to pick a favorite but I love “The Swinging Sticks”. So mesmerizing, you could stare at it forever. You are doing a great job with the new show, I’m really enjoying it. I wish the old coffee with dan&dave videos would still be available to watch(and the book club videos even more so!)

The desktop planetary system is my favorite item I'd like to add to my home. It would look great at the foot of my Lego Saturn V and Discovery shuttle. As an aside - I thought those entire stacks of decks were going for $7/5/3. Thought that was insane 😂

I love the floating Light Pulp, it adds so much magic into an everyday object. Pure magic.

For me the favorite item would be the Teno by Lumio, an impressive mix of art, light and sound.

I'm definitely going to have to choose: "Slow Dance". I'm going to be a father in a few months, so I'll have to entertain my little baby. And some decks of cards to update my old collection to make new photos.

Would love the swinging sticks desk sculpture. As soon as I saw it behind Dan in the first episode i fell in love. These episodes are great btw :)

I'm a big fan of teno, it feels so futuristic with it's extremely minimalistic design. also slowdance is such a cool item, i'd love to experiment with it.

I've always wanted to get the Tangram books since they are a puzzle within themselves and also are a unique addition to a coffee table. Can't wait to see what you guys have for next week!

Slow dance 100%! I don’t own one, but it’s been on the short list for a while now! By the way, just seeing the words “coffee with Dan and Dave” in the wild made me so incredibly happy. The original instance of coffee with Dan and Dave quite literally changed my life. I owe a very close friendship to those early google hangouts!

I love a lot of the paper craft products but the magical origami cloth is still the most magical for me

Well.. I am kind of a cards-only guy, so basically the best product for me is the variety box. The box itself is a great piece of art, but the decks inside are a perfect mixture for a collector, cardist, magician and a show off all together. So that has to be my pick, eventhough it's the same as the first giveaway's prize

The Holoscopes are really cool! The Dodecahedron one is my favorite out of the three, as even though it looks chaotic there is still some pattern. I think my favorite thing in the Art of Play store is the shutter puzzle box. It's made so precisely, and that mechanism is just mesmerizing.

for me probably the joy of hex puzzle since i really wonder how that beautiful puzzle feels in the hand.

Another fun episode. Congrats to the winner of the variety box! I think the coolest item on art or play is that flyte floating light bulb because it combines magic, art and science!
