The hymn, "Jesus Christ Is Risen Today," is a good hymn to compliment Mark 16:1-7, along with Luke 24:13-31, and John 3:16. CHRIST IS RISEN! ALLELUIA! HE IS RISEN INDEED! ALLELUIA! ALLELUIA!
He was raised for our justification! Wow! Ty Lord God! Ty. How great thou art!
Christ raised Himself, the Father raised Him and the Holy Spirit raised Him.

Easter sun-day is actually just a tradition/ and doctrine of men...The word "Easter", derived from Eostre, is a pagan fertility sun-goddess, and her festival that is celebrated at the "time" of the spring equinox with rituals, has NOTHING to do with our Lord Jesus Christ Who "Died" on "Passover" ( the true Pascha ) was "Buried" in the tomb upon "The Feast Of Unleavened Bread"... and then "Rose" upon FirstFruits/ the actual "3RD Day" Of Passover... ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. ( Leviticus 23 : 4 - 14 ...Isaiah 53...Psalm 22... Hosea 6 : 1 - 2... Daniel 9 : 24 - 27 ... 1 Cor. 15 : 1 - 4 ... 1 Cor. 5 : 7 - 8 ... 1 Cor. 15 : 20 - 23 ) Jesus Christ IS Our Passover/Pascha Lamb... NOT our Easter/Eostre Ham! ( John 1 : 29 )

@꧁.꧂ Son of Man 333 ꧁_꧂ He is the Creator...we are his creatures...we live in a fallen state...He was incarnated to fulfill the scriptures and died for our sins...His testimony is that we must try to imitate Him in this life so that we can become children of God...if not, you will glorify Him in your destruction

Mark says the angel was ‘sitting’ on the right. The preacher says he was ‘standing’. Why change it? Also why change the Sabbath day? Because the Emperor Constantine who worshiped the sun god Sol Invictus wanted it changed.

It wasn't changed. Different Gospel accounts show different pieces of the picture. In all likelihood he was sitting and then standing or the other way around at different parts of the encounter. The Sol Invictus propaganda is easily proven false by the fact that the Gospels were complete before Constantine was even born.
So this pastor/priest is admitting that tha sabbath of the Lord was changed from Saturday to Sunday just because Jesus rose on a Sunday. Which other(s) of the Ten Commandments would need to be changed because Jesus did not descend at the time He promised? Who can change the Law of God? Humans? Hmmm!

So you don't want to celebate the Lord's Day? You want to go back to celebrating the Sabbath instead? No-one changed the law so it's wrong to suggest that, unless you disagree with the Apostles/Disciples? Christians no longer need to celebrate the sabbath - do you also want to continue all the ceremonial laws linked to it as well? - due to the death and resurrection of Jesus (you make it sound trivial by saying "just because Jesus rose"). The resurrection is the reason for them being Christians so it is the key event and certainly worthwhile celebrating, isn't it?

@@HearGodsWord No one said that you couldn't worship on Sunday, but that does not mean that the Sabbath on Saturday can be done away with. No one has the authority to do that, as it is Torah and God said His Torah is forever. This Christians who claimed that they are saved, yet ignore the Torah are going to be in for a big surprise.

@@onejohn2.26 I don't think you read my comment properly. It's true that no-one said that you couldn't worship on Sunday, that wanted being debated. Based on Jesus' death and resurrection as the final lamb why do you need to still celebrate the sabbath when it's now been fulfilled by Him on the cross? Also, no-one said ignore the Torah either. What sort of Christian are you?
Romans 1:3-4 says it all. Completely destroys the trinity doctrine as defined by the harlot catholic church.
