Mere papa mujhe hamesha bolte hain ki "expectations lead to disappointment", isliye na papa koi expectation rakhte h na mummy, aur na hi mai. Hum teeno ko pata h marks ache aayenge lekin ye societal boundary jo ban gyi h 90% ki yahi reason h baccho ke mental health issues ka. I also got my 12th result this year and I scored 91%, no coaching, no external guidance, only school education. Now i believe that if we don't put pressure of marks on children, they can actually perform well. Education should be about "padhai karni h", not "marks lane h", because ultimately to kya marks kya percentage kuch nhi dekha jata h, insaan ki knowledge dekhi jaati h aur knowledge aisi power h jo koi humse chheen nhi sakta. 3 ghante ka paper kaise decide kar skta h ki kisko kitni knowledge h? So marks never matter, you are the one who matters because without you, those marks wouldn't have an existence.

Tell your family to read up about IPS Manoj Sharma. He got 52 percent in class x, much less than what you have gotten. He even failed class 12th, had to also work in a flour mill. Despite all the challenges and hardships he is now an IPS officer.

You know what, sometimes parents should also think before speaking to their children because at first they say it but that thing gets embedded in the children's mind and then if the children do not live up to their parents' expectations, they start considering themselves useless due to which they even commit suicide, go into depression and last year only a student from our batch committed suicide and there are many such stories, though our parents are also not at fault in this, they want our children to do well but they should also understand a little, sit and talk with love and all, anyway the video was very good, keep making such videos...thank you!!

I really dont know why children even think so much about what parents say...literally i got 85 percent and my parents started scolding me for not achieving 90, but I dont give 2 shits to them as long as the 75 percent criteria for jee is fulfilled....students should listen to their own voice, not of their judgemental parents

I scored 72.6% in my cbse board exams. No matter what anyone will say ppl will judge you and you will feel bad too. I wish i performed better. It's my fault that i raised my parents expectations and mine too. I swear i expected much more.

I scored 81% in my icse boards and is currently in a college.. but everyday I get stressed out and get anxious about little things... Sometimes I feel like a failure... I'm in a position where i can't even drop out... because dropping out will lead problem for my future life if I don't get any degree... But at the same time I face mental health issues everyday with my academics

i remember the pressure my parents always put on me, 2022 11th, during covid couldn't understand well in online classes and got 93.4% and came 2nd in school... 12th' studied a lot and got 96% and topped school... both times my parents were so disappointed with me.. in 11th they even said, that 2nd rank is equivalent to fail... in 12th they asked, why not 99.9% like other toppers? 96 percentile in jee mains thru only 8 months preparation of jee,..."why not 99.99 percentile??" getting north eastern NITs .."those are equivalent to worst colleges in country.. why not iit bomay?" in content vdos, parents realise their mistakes, but in real life it never happens...

Students who are in 12th now and who are going to be in 12th This is my advice as a 1st year college student Marks are not as important as mental health Try harder but if the results are not favourable, please don't blame yourself. U tried ur best. And 12th mark is not everything I used to think finishing 12th is harder but now I don't even care abt the marks. College is going to be much harder. There is some kind of exam gng on always. It's just to test our knowledge but not stop it from growing. So don't give up. All the best

This kind of situation happened in my city, so there was one guy (a middle-school guy) who used to go for coaching classes (well, he was kind of young for coaching). One day I don't exactly know but I heard that he cheated during exam or something else happened to him in coaching classes that somehow he didn't return to his home after his class. When his father came to pick him up from his coaching centre, he was not there. Rather he literally took a local bus and then took a train and ran away to two different states by trains. He had little money for food so for that, it was found in CCTVs that he sold his expensive pens he had for money. Later after few days he was found safe by other women who fortunately found him in a train station. Later he came back to his home. Some people say that he ran away from home because of his parents pressurising him in his studies or maybe his parents were strict. This is the harsh reality...
