Brothers, Keep up the great exegesis! To add, We see the Kingdom coming in Ezk vision chap 37 and Jesus telling Nicodemus about it in John 3! The Kingdom is Spiritual now, until the End of the Age/consummation when he will remake the Cosmos/Earth, and commune with us in the heavenly Jerusalem come to Earth. Maranatha!

I agree that the "born of water and the Spirit" and "the wind blows where it wishes" (from John 3) are all allusions to Ezekiel 36-37's new covenant and restoration section.

The restoration of Israel according to imperfect individuals

I asked this before, but I was not very satisfied with the answer. If this is the restoration of Isreal, what does it mean that God will never scatter them across the nations. In a fairly literal sense, the early church was expelled out from Isreal. The only answer that works in my head is that some passages are referring to ethnic Isreal instead of the spiritual understanding of Isreal.

Israel was scattered among the nations during the last days which ended in AD 70. During the transition generation from the Old Covenant age to the New Covenant age, AD 30-AD 70, the remnant from all twelve tribes were being gathered to Messiah. This was the restoration of true Israel. Under the New Covenant old Israel is no more and true Israel remains under Messiah forever. Eschatology was focused on covenant ages and it has been fulfilled.

@Mendezfarriercompany306 I believe the understanding you have about Hebrews 11. Of course, their faith in the promises were credited as righteousness. But if you believe that they knew in fullness what the promises entailed, then you should look at all the extended ancient Jewish writing. They didn't know, they had faith. Why then could God give promises that he didn't intend to fulfill the outcome it appeared to promise. By calling the old covenant obsolete and all of it's specific promises interpretable to the modern church, all plain understanding is voided. Why not make arguments about Ishmael as the fulfilling of the church age. The question isn't that God's election is fulfilled but what does it mean in a time that we don't need the Jews to meet God. Simply stating that it is over is a conclusion that you build assumptions out of. That is not a defense of it.

so you just pass over that Jesus specifically says that the restoration of Israel is in the Father's hands and is nothing to do with the church. Those prophecies in Isaiah speak of a world under Messiah living in peace and prosperity, Jesus describes the end times in terms of famine and disaster. How do you account for this? The only way to understand it is to see that there is a future age ... the millennium age, when the church is in heaven reigning with Messiah and the Jews reign with Messiah on earth. God's plan [Paul says] for the FULNESS OF TIME [a synonym for the millennium] is to unite all things in Christ in heaven and on earth. Isaiah predicts heaven and earth united, Jesus predicts [for the church] rebellion and persecution. The world age ends for the church with rapture.

It's not very often that I see comments from people who know the difference between Israel and the Body of Christ Church, and the difference between Israel's inheritance and our inheritance. The fellowship of the mystery that God wants all men to see (Ephesians 3:9), but no one even seems to care about. I guess Satan wants no one to see it.

Sounds backwards… you say take your framework and then read and compare with the scriptures… should it not be take the scriptures and compare them with scriptures and then arrive at the biblical framework? So many presuppositions determine how you view the scriptures, no wonder we are so divided in Christendom

Oops, you failed to mention prayer FIRST. You give credence to reason, logic and common sense, as if Yahs word were a common mortal writ. For this and this alone I have “prayerfully” resolved to UNsubscribe. EVERYTHING I have come to know regarding truth has come through prayer and supplication just as Yahs word instructs me to do. Thanks for the “few” truths I’ve received that caused me to subscribe to your “channel” but ain’t gonna listen any longer to falsity willingly. Will pray for you all however. Bye now.

Perhaps the incidental failure to appeal to prayer first is a serious oversight, but in your four years of watching this channel, how many of their segments began with prayer? To my recollection, every segment I've viewed has been prefaced by prayer. Prayer is essential, and the Holy Spirit's direction is invaluable. Still, the people of God also benefit greatly from the gifted teachers that HE has raised up and given to the church. Are you saying that none of your present understanding involves human teachers? That would seem quite unlikely, almost impossible. No lectures, sermons, commentaries, books? Your general characterization of this ministry as presenting "falsity" is somewhat uncharitable. How about recognizing that the Spirit may indeed have spotlighted in YOUR heart an important truth regarding the centrality of prayer in the study of the Bible, that you might contribute to these discussions in a way that enlightens the body, helping other believers also see that, rather than disparaging others unnecessarily and turning others away from what appears to be a faithful and biblical ministry.

Billy, we hate to see you go! I (Mark, the guy in the glasses in this video) certainly fail to pray nearly as much as the Lord would have me. It's frankly embarrassing and sinful. So, even though I feel your criticism is somewhat sharp, if I'm being honest with you, I do pray far too infrequently and it is a sign of real pride in my heart and self-sufficiency. May the Lord strength our moment-by-moment prayer lives! For apart from Him we can do nothing.

Just believe, as you do I’m quite certain, that prayer is # one on my list of things to do in discerning what THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH is and this goes for my supplication of Yahs word. Way tooooo many influences out there touting what is truth which is NOT. The wisdom of Father is hindered when we do NOT pray over and about EVERYTHING … in complete obedient submission and consecration. That’s all I’m saying. I know you agree and I will say that of all the internet “channels” I sub to, you pray more than them all. Sorry if I offended you for it certainly wasn’t intended to do such. I’m just many times to abrasive and blunt, a quality I very much am praying that the Holy Spirit will rectify in my approach. Bless you and your ministry. I Have gleaned much from it and hope to continue doing so.

James 1:5-8, "5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."
