Hey question im going there on jun , when i look online they have a paradisus palma real and then a paradisus golf and spa palma real.. which one did you guys stayed in.. which one was you upgraded to .. thabk you

I believe that golf and spa is the same resort just access to different amenities and I think the rooms are in a different area but main areas are all the same like restuarants and pool. We were not upgraded. We originally paid for The Reserve at Paradisus Punta cana. When we arrived they told us what we had paid for was not available because of construction and they tried to stick us in an older part that was outdated and run down. We refused and requested to be changed to one of their other The Reserve hotels at another Paradisus (palma real) which was more comparable to what we had originally paid for. The grand reserve was my favorite 🤩 The reserve at palm real was nice but not as new as the grand reserve.

The grand reserve is a newer hotel and the design style is more modern. The reserve is more tropical but older facilities. So I guess it's a matter of personal taste. As far as food, I liked the food we had at the grand reserve, better quality. The reserve is a private section inside paradisus palma real resort, it's like a small hotel inside a hotel. You can choose to not leave the reserve section but it only has 1 pool, 2 restaurants and 1 buffet with ok food and no beach. The good restaurants and the beach are in the main part of the hotel and you have to take a gulf cart and walk alottttttt more. At the grand reserve everything is walking distance, no gulf carts needed. *If you choose the reserve make sure its the reserve palma real NOT the reserve punta cana that is one of their older hotels and not worth its price.

@@TheMASHHLife thank you so much!! That was very helpful, i was planning to make my reservation through Melia.com , i think is their website. Prices seems a lot cheaper! Bad thing the resort doesn’t have any type or shuttle from the airport to the resort! Will need to plan that out. Definitely going for the Grand reserve!!!
