You guys play great music music.i loved going to concerts, clubs, ballrooms, Mississippi riverboat, old grainreais, jukebox joints and Any place l could see good live bands. I loved moving around every Night to hear music. Rockin My Life Away Every Day.

Now that is true real rock and roll. That's how it all began. That's how all those rock and roll groups wanted to sound like. And that's where they got their licks from. I say rock and roll I say Chuck Berry. Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. I don't care what anybody says that's where it all began right there these guys are doing it. Excellent group. I can't stop dancing. That music that these guys are playing will never go out of style.

Theres only one thing to say (for those who might have missed it). It's Rock n Roll.

Okay... there are some fantastic boogie players out there.. Usually from Austria, Germany etc., Garaint Watkins from the UK (who I met and almost had in my band when I lived in London), who has played with the Refreshments.... but, The style of playing Johan B has, is exceptionally good with boogie..... (the jazz type boogie players are not so good either). Johan B, is THE boogie player and it doesn't get any better than this! My father played more like Jerry Lee, but I have to say, Johan is the KING OF BOOGIE players!

One of the best Rock n Roll bands, if not the best. They play great feel good music.

They’ve got the goods , this rock group is special. I really like the piano play of Johan Blohm, “Mr. boogie woogie”. The monster sax group is core. With their lead singer the Refreshments are the total package.

Its quite fascinating that this is not an english speaking country but the band singer’s diction and accent sound american.

I'm an American Finn, and have lived in Finland when I was younger, and the European music scene is so far above the US scene--they do rock and roll better than Americans--I love the sax players--they add a new dynamic to rock music!

What a great sound by brilliant musicians! I am mesmerized by the piano playing; everyone is so talented. I wonder if everyone realizes what a beast the drummer is - I've never seen anyone play like that!

Der Herzschrittmacher läuft im Takt, die Klassenarbeiten der Schüler werden besser, es wird weniger Narkose- Mittel gebraucht, Patienten kippen Tabletten diskret in den großen Blumenkasten und die Musik lauter, die Omas und Opas im Altersheim schubsen Rollator und Rollstuhl weg - brauchen Platz = zum Tanzen, Babys wackeln mit Pampers- Popo im Takt... ... wenn diese (Eure=!) Musik läuft! Auch einen großen Korb mit Danke- Zettelchen zu Johan! Liebe norddeutsche Grüße - eine Unbekannte - (Sabine) Tip: Verfügt an Eurer Beerdigung, daß Keiner den Kirchen-Sch... singen muß, sondern, daß Einer eine Platte von Euch auflegt... ...und nach und nach dann alle mitsingen =🥰😘💝! Ich hab bspw. zu meinen Sohn gesagt, wer an meiner Beerdigung heilt, den besuch' ich nachts und kitzel ich nachts (an den Füßen, unter dem Arm, am Nacken🤣)!

Schreibfehler Wer an meiner Beerdigung " h e u l t " (und nicht heilt) den besuche ich nachts 🤔und😲 derjenige wird durch- gekitzelt! Mein Sohn bekam das immer, wenn er Schitte gebaut hat. Dann fällt normales Antworten schwer 🤣! Es half nur ein Wort, daß ich damit aufhör 🥺🙄 😆😩😆🤫🤣 und das Wort lautet: "Bitte"!

THE best world wide rock n roll band ever! Every one of the musicians here!

I listen to every video of this band I can find and yet they still do songs I've never heard! And I am a rock n roll fanatic!!! Who else notices how damn good that drummer is??? I mean it's hard to pick out anyone as they are ALL superb, but I LOVE watching their drummer and his funny little affectations! i JUST LOVE THAT DRUMMER!! Mats Fosberg is his name. But I love all of them! I can't ever turn their video off! I have to say something about them all when I comment! Don't want to leave anyone out! Joakim the lead singer/bassman is wonderful and loves what he does so much he makes us love it too! The Guitar player, Robin Ollson, is incredible keeping up the boogie for so long without his fingers dropping off! And he does much more at times..... The piano man, Johan Biohm is probably the best for boogie style and such feeling... I just wish he would smile more.. As I said I LOVE the drummer and watch him most of the time! The saxman, Micke Finell, well, there is no-one else anywhere like him! Huge presence in the best manly way and my FAVOURITE saxman!

Mats Forsberg is very good. I like his facial expression. Micke Finnell left the band about 8 years age. Joakim needs to get back in the group. Are you aware that Joakim writes a lot of their songs. Glad that you like this band.

@@charlesjohnson-qf2ns Oh yes, I am aware, of the songwriting, we have been in contact when I told him a particular song I loved... Seems it might be the only blues song they did, and Joakim wrote it. A tongue in cheek about the devil.. Good song. Joahn writes some too. I was VERY sad when Micke left to do his own thing...... So Joakim has left the band now?? He can't! He is the band! Along with the other members to make that unique sound.. And I just LOVE the expressions of Mats, but his drumming is more than superb!! He's so adorable! I hope Johan never leaves the band, I wished no-one left the band!

@@canadianroot Thank you so much for letting me know! I thought I replied about the Working Man song but I can't see a response here from me.... ??? I had a reharsal version of it which needed to be redone, but that was on the home page, and the box needs clicking to bring up the jukebox. Needs Adobe to run it on a reader's site though. That is why I'm creating a new website... Did you find my website through the About Page on my channel? The sound of this band, The Refreshments, is my absolute favourite sound and the sound I have been trying to get together for a few years now.. It is so difficult, as not many have this sound any more, nor the feel needed.

I recently discovered The Refreshments on KZread and they knocked me out! Cannot wait to see them live. Most musicians in my area, myself included , had not heard of them. Just an absolutely great band! Masters of this genre!!
