"Harold, this is Canada. Everything leans a little to the left." Love this line! One of the funniest things said in any episode of this show.
🇨🇦 The Red Green Show IS Canada’s #1 comedy! 🇨🇦

Holy crap it's Don Harron! He even plays his old Hee Haw character Charlie Farquharson. I'm a huge Hee Haw fan, so seeing Don reprise his most iconic role was so awesome.
The video recorder is a JVC HR-7100U, a popular VHS vcr from1983. I am working on one right now and I had one before, and so did my dad

God, I miss those old VCRs from the 80's. Back before companies made planned degradation a thing. My family had one that was absolutely ancient, and after it gave up the ghost, we had to settle for some mass-produced piece of crap made in the 2010's, and it lasted maybe two weeks before breaking down and ruining one of my favorite movies. Then, before we could even think of getting a replacement, VHS was phased out completely, and everyone in the damn world celebrated it! Like it was a good thing that people were no longer able to watch all their old VHS tapes! Oh, but it was fine, because *everyone* could afford to buy DVD copies of everything! Okay, that turned into a bit of a rant. Point is, that old VCR was amazing, and I miss it dearly.
I figured the real solution to this problem would have been to ask Edgar Montrose to create a similar gap on the high side. A bit of dynamite or nitro, and they wouldn't be worried about the lodge leaning anymore!
Red: "Men, I've been thinking." men: "Uh-oh." LOL
I keep looking for the washing machine car episode but I can't find it. It was the first ever episode I ever saw and it has a special place in my heart. Especially the "spin cycle"! 😂😂😂
Best thing outside of maple syrup and oil sands to come out of Canada 🇨🇦 is the best show ever made! No matter what South Park says. Red/Green is still hilarious to this day! 😂❤😂
"The lodge is out of plumb; it leans a little to the left." "Harold, this is Canada; EVERYTHING leans to the left!" Unlike America, at least they're honest. God bless Stephen Harper, though; love to have him down here!

@@walterfoster5682 Inspired by you, I have made a long handled fish net out of deer netting, a wheel opener wire, a PVC pipe and some hologram duct tape. I made a DIY live well out of a bucket and deer netting as round as the bucket with a rim made of folded duct tape, slides down on top and stays put, I tell ya, cover folds up when not in use. I make my own flies out of single seed beads and string on #10 hooks, with sometimes feathers or animal hair or brightly colored tinsel eyelashes. Most productive so far are the tiny black flies made of string and a red bead. Caught pan fish and the largest catfish of my life on that. Why do the biggest fish go after the tiniest lures? Go figure.
They did such a terrible at looking like they were trying balance themselves on a tilted floor, but that just made this episode so much more enjoyable.

Agreed. To improve the affect, they could’ve had those 2 trees out the back windows remain pointing straight upward.

Eric Whitney they changed them to tilting to add on to the effect, it’s subtle but it sells the lean
Thanks Red!
I thought they would have Moose Thompson move to the other side for a while.

"The faucet doesn't run but, hey, it's a Jaguar." Man, is that true. Old Jaguars were horribly unreliable. One XKE owner I knew told me he wouldn't even try to start it if it was raining!
😂🤣the damn level sliding to the left on the floor did it for me haha
Red just did a Canadian drive by!
You can also use the VCR to block the answer to the word game - makes it more enjoyable.
that kitchen car is hilarious

They had to duct tape over the DeWalt logo on that drill. Shame on DeWalt for not being a sponsor.

Not a sponsor, just provided the tools...legal issues and such cause them to block out names unless it’s easily identifiable like the old cars and as they aren’t the sponsor for the show they can’t legally show the logos but can thank them for providing the tools in the credits

The long drill bit? I used to use Diversibits. They were available in three and six foot lengths. I used a six foot bit with three six foot extensions to give me 24 feet. They were flexible, and we used that long bit to pre-wire buildings for alarm systems. I would run the drill while the helper move a guide from stud to stud. You could see from one end, to the other since they were all in a nice straight line. This came in handy, wen the wire was damaged before the drywall went up. Someone had cut a wire in a twisted pair, in between two large windows that were 12 feet apart. I used the damaged wire to pull in a replacement, in spite of the wall being fully insulated. It saved us several hundred dollars that would have been charged to replace the drywall, and it proved to the General Contractor that it was done on purpose. This was in the '70s, before this series started.
