We're out in Crawfordsville, Indiana for the 2025 Honda CRF450R media launch. Along with the all new machines, American Honda brought out a few of the Team Honda HRC racers; including last weekend's winner Chance Hymas. Following some laps on Ironman Raceway, we talked to Chance about his recent win, taking the next step in his career, a new contract, and more!

@@ste_v1983 really? I always thought it was proper decorum to have an NFC and AFC team, but they have to be prioritized lest they meet in the Super Bowl. wait. you're not European, are you? I don't think I know of two MLS teams. Messi plays in Miami? 🤪 Chance really does have those starts dialed. dunno if he picked up some sort of secret sauce from Hunter and Jett or what, but the three of them have been mainstays at the front of the first turn since Pala (and of the three, I only ever thought of Jett as a holeshot artist).

The thing is he is copying Jett style, but he isn't Jett. He should develop his own style if he wants to be great. One day he will face Jett on 450 maybe and then what? He might be on another team and won't ever be able to beat him cause you never give away all your secrets. No one does, they don't want anyone being able to beat them.

Other riders will find a style that bears Jett, then Hymas copycat is gonna be in trouble. Jetta gonna turn another dial and adapt quicker.

@@ThorneyGryffonJett’s riding style isn’t really a style; it’s more akin to pure technique. His body positioning on the bike is what makes him great. What he uses is the most efficient technique possible to let the bike and him work together. Other riders try to tame it and look like they’re in a boxing match with the bike. Chase Sexton used to be the technique guy, but Jett is just on another level. What I’m trying to say is that there won’t be any riding style that beats Jett’s use of technique. It’s physically impossible.

This dude is killing it, Hymas has my vote every time, cool humble kid! Deegan seems like a Cauchy little punk! He’s a good rider but dude needs too get straight roosted on!

Deegan has blown by this dude in almost every race but 2 this season lol.
crazy to think that the Only way Hymas or Vialle can Win is If Deegan crashes out of multiple races... but on a positive note, Honda's PED's program seems to be going well for "chunky".

@@lukecadogan6855 think about every outdoor moto so far in this season of mx... there hasn't been a moto, not one, where Hymas actually passed Deegan... the Only times that Hymas was leading Deegan is when Haiden got a bad start or he crashed... but Deegan has passed Hymas "straight up" in multiple races so far... crazy to think
I was rooting for him when nobody was, good to see him running up front. Now I get to root for the dude up front…
If Deegan dosnt crash he would t have won, but he did and that’s racing. Just saying nobody has Deegan straight up.
