That’s what I’ve been saying also. A lot of people don’t realize that if they don’t continuously shave their head then it will look uneven when the hair grows back.

wow - what a huge difference - when i first started watching, i was thinking, "Oh, thats not a good SMP treatment and then when you shaved your head - made ALL the difference and looks totally natural!!! great video

The level of effort is super low. He just waited probably a week to grow it.

The cutting of the hair and making it even with the tatto is extremely satisfying. Love it! and the result looks very good and 100% realistic

Even in bright light? Look at this guy- the light is reflecting off his entire scalp. That makes it look like a tattoo. Stubble does not reflect light like that, shaved hair isn't slick and shiny. Maybe in some situations it would look realistic, like at night or in very low light. But during the day, outside in natural light?

@@Amin_2k Well I can only see the front, his hairline receded most of the way back. But from what I can see, the light reflects off his scalp. Id love to get one just a bit afraid people are going to notice. Some of them look very realistic and others not so much.

Great explanation! I’ve always wondered if I can bring hairline down while keeping my real hair at a 1.5 or 1. But the only way is to cut down to a 0 or do smp by the original hairline. Thank you for keeping it real!

PPV, I can tell when someone gets a transplant. Smp can look like it’s your hair depending who does it.

@@ifollowjesus1667 this guy could’ve went for a straight hairline with a transplant, not he has to buzz off the rest of his hair to match the SMP. IMO depending on if you go to a good surgeon or not, hair transplants look more natural.

Your hairline recedes as you age. If you do SMP to your current hairline you have the same problem later.

Very very helpful! Thank you: That’s why I just did a filler for my corners because my hairline is thinning in the corners, but I didn’t mind keeping my hairline where it was because I like my hair a bit longer. For people who have a very high, badly receding hairline, they can’t get a teenage hairline unless they were to shave off their real hair. If the artificial hairline looked more like the real thing, it would blend in much better and look more natural.

Great video! I needed this to explain to my family members that if do smp for them they have to commit to the short hair style.

Probably the best would be to have a laser removal of the areas where there is still hair and after do a smp. Therfore you always look fresh. Don't know if possible though, this just came in mind just now and sounds good :D

Same boat. I have a slightly receded hair line and some thinning on top and crown but I dont always have time to shave it every day or two so have been considering FUE Artas or SMP...but worried about...stuff.

I had my first session last Sunday, 3 days ago. The first session they use a lighter color that sets the hair line, so your empty areas are technically not blended with the same density with your bald areas. However, now that I can see my hairline despite the density level, it feels unreal man. I can’t wait for my next session to higher the density level. Make sure your you trust your artist. It doesn’t hurt at the beginning, but after an hour your head would get irritated and starts to hurt. The front area is the most painful one, my crown didn’t hurt that bad. Good luck!

Most smp patients online You can see mini dots mimicking the hair follicles. On Some people it looks like a grey smudge ? Does it get that way after a while.
