To an extent this is expected. They expected Lewis to fade into oblivion at Mercedes and now he's moving to a team that's on the rise. Those simulators? Mercedes at this point is trying to save face because after two years of relying on their own hubris, Hamilton going to Ferrari, along with the slew of other top personnel that have left/are going to leave the team, puts Mercedes in a situation where they are doomed to become the new Ferrari. Lots of name and "heritage" but little to show as for recent results.

Last time I checked he had two partners up to 2022 and the only one that beat him in the same machinery, as he likes to remind everyone, did it *ONCE* and it was so consuming that he literally retired afterwards, so yeah... He's been "exposed". xD The other guy? Who's the other guy? Wolfman have been Sabotaging Lewis car from 2021. The reason he didn't sabotage Lewis car earlier he wasn't in complete control he had Ross Brawn, Niki Lauder Paddy Lowe who wouldn't endorse his sabotaging. Also James Alison want to leave the reason in my opinion 220 men left Mercedes they never studied for 4 years in engineering to go to work and sabotage Lewis car.

To all the people who only want to point out Russell’s stats when it favors him, I just have one thing to say. Will Russell finish 3rd or hire this year? So let’s say Russell finishes ahead of Lewis this season. Will he finish top 3 like Lewis did last year? In 22 George finished 4th and wasn’t “best of the rest” (Max/RB then Charles/Ferrari, Checo). Last season Lewis finished 3rd and was BOR (Max/Checo/RB Lewis). When Lewis beats George, he beats the rest of the field. George finishes ahead, only cares about finishing ahead of Lewis. Who looks the better driver to the money machines that fund Merc F1. Guess what, he’s going to Ferrari next year.

Well first he is doing 'experiments' for the team, then, his mindset is on 2025 with Ferrari, and he doesn't really care or trying anymore as he is just waiting for the season to be over, then, it because Mercedes is favoring Russell and they are giving him all the upgrades while they give none to Lewis latest, would be the Lewis is being sabotage by Mercedes conspiracy theory.. They know Russell isn’t the guy to replace Lewis, that is why they are trying to get Max. That doesn’t mean they are spending millions of dollars developing a car and then deliberately slow it down for one driver. They want to be competitive to save their corporate image. That’s far more valuable than letting a driver swap teams which happens all the time. This article makes no sense at all.

Lewis isn’t daft he knows what is going on like he did in 2016 with a change in engineers and a dodgy dnf to give Rosberg the title, Lewis could of still won that year if he was left alone in the final race when he started backing Rosberg up into the pack but wolf got on the blower and told him to speed up that said everything that year.

Obliterating Lewis noooo, Leclerc wouldn't be capable of that without help of the team. What i mean is to much competitiveness inside any given team is not healthy, the only medicine for it is to push one before the other without loosing the one left behind unless you have another second seater in mind. Think about the contract extension of chico Peres, why if it's not giving max the peace of mind that his co Driver wouldn't give him too much headache.
