Workflow is my biggest focus. FL Studio it's way to easy to get lost in the sauce. Learning about templates, hot keys, and workflow is always a godsend. Thanks y'all!

Nah, give up. This video should be Titled: "The Reason Other Daw Users are a LOST CAUSE in FL Studio: other DAWs arent a mess!" 🤣🤣🤣
I love how you guys are bringing more attention to fl studio. I remember when nobody took it seriously when I said I use it. I've been using it for over 20 years just making music for fun and to me it's so full featured I can do almost anything in it. Keep it up

I love seeing how this podcast is evolving. You guys are great. Keep this up. We def love it. I use wave shaper on my master EVERY SINGLE Time. You can create some good saturation with it. It really helps glue the mix together in a way that a compressor can. Creating a new node half way through and bending the bottom half up and the upper half down, it will give you a really good saturation in the top end.
you guys just inspired me to make tutorial videos and side by side comparisons with other DAWs people dont realize how easy it use to the DAW compared to other DAWs. its really really easy im a full-time engineer i started my journey with pro tools and have used for over 15 years also using logic, studio one, cubase and ableton. always made my beats on FL. when FL made the big update to record in the playlist in 2020. i made the switch to FL full time.
Love this bro... Keep it up, it really helps.
31:02 that’s what the plus button is for in the playlist
Appreciate y'all for keeping the community going 🙏
I like the mix of the giveaways creates a nice tripod to build from. Still in the starting pages and glad I found the show.
Really enjoying the show, also seeing the TikTok clips of peace's I may have missed!
I got to learn about that track button. game changer for my workflow. Well worth the watch as always. 💎
TRIPOD..... That compression segment was gold. As a gamer, I could totally understand that.
AYE!!! That course sounds so good! I didn’t know you had one
Tripod. I love when you do “guess the plugin”, because people that are listening (like i do on spotify), can guess it too, so it’s pretty fun. Anyways, keep making this podcast!
Tripod just bought producer edition. This podcast is amazing
Tripod. I have always enjoyed learning from your channel, but this format just keeps getting better. Thank you.
Mixing on a tripod? Larry's beats are so steady, they're the only support we need. #TripodBeats
lol that mixer assign trick was such a surprise, pretty cool 🐁
For me the best routing option is assign to new instrument track. You can right click a channel rack channel choose assign to new instrument track. This is the same function as dropping onto the track header and choosing instrument track, or hitting the + symbol on the playlist. I just wish we could highlight all the channel rack sounds and assign as new instrument track all at the same time just like we can with regular routing to mixer feature.
Love the show bro Thank you.
TRIPOD 🔱🎙️🙏🏼. Love the show you guys finally a podcast about music production that teaches me something I'm interested in and is explained in a way that even without visuals I can comprehend. I'm a longtime hardware and MPC user and haven't messed with FL since 2009 version 11. Unfortunately due to a homelessness situation atm I only have room to carry a laptop . I've never been a computer person and the learning curve is crazy but you guys explain FL in a way that's easy to understand and the podcast is very entertaining. If I don't get selected for the courses I sure plan on buying them as soon as I'm able. I appreciate all your knowledge and help and I've learned a lot listening to you guys. Thank you LOL TRIPOD...🔱
Tripod cause you know Im greedy. Great content as usual, I went sytrus with the first one too by the way.
TRIPOD, first time watching awesome pod keep up the good work
@larry Ohh TRIPOD 🔥🔥🔥Dope ep as always. Appreciation from 🇿🇦
Regarding the complaint at 29:34 about having to right-click a track header to create an audio track to record into, a much faster way already exists. Just right-click the + icon at the top-left corner of the playlist. Done. This will instantly create an audio track inside the first empty playlist track and it will be linked to the mixer, ready to record. It doesn't get much faster than that, boys.
30:09 One Click - Just left click on the plus + icon in the arrangement view to automatically add the audio track already assigned to the mixer track.
Tripod!! Loving the banter.
Tripod, I would love to learn from you, thank you so much for the chance. Keep up the great work :)
Tripod!! Podcast is gas, keep it up yall!! Dope mouse feature is cycling between selecter, slicer, etc. by holding i think its ctrl+alt+scroll wheel. I dont got a mouse in my hand as i comment this, but its something like that and you can cycle the options available. Very cool, love mouse stuff more is great!
I need the courses you wld be setting up one of the future goats of hip-hop
Tripod!! 😂 As someone who already owns FL, this giveaway provides a huge value
TRIPOD! Just switched from Protools to FL for beat making a week ago I’d be lost without you
VIE Producers love Larry’s Tripod and tutorials beneficial to perfection!!!
As soon as you upload I'm listening straight up like a tripod
13:06 Never knew this was a thing! Literally 20 years of using FL Studio and now I don't have to type out my channels names anymore!
ctrl + l on the channel rack: BOOM you’re in ableton now
32:40 A learning mode on the already existing demo projects would be 🔥🔥🔥even just key points in their notepad on everything they are already doing, and the why for the decisions that were already made. their notepad can already work on the sequencer and mixer tracks... You guys are on fire forget a fantasy lol
Tripod. Love the show!
TRIPOD... That bodyguard example with compression is gold but wouldn't you always want a strong bodyguard??? Whose like "yea just hire the weak guy for the day"😂.... Also gut my gut is saying that plugin was Sakura... Love the Podcast! keep up the work...
Tripod! Great episode guys!
Great show Larry. Tripod.
The recording in FL is 🎉 Emagine if we could change the volyme and access the fx chains in the mixer from the playlist without open the mixer.🔥
Tripod! TOP as usual
Tripod and yes we need those mouse click shortcuts, and that's definitely sakura!
Fl community on top
Tripod . Let's gooo!!! Fl gang gang 🔥🔥🔥
nice..I do have a unit I use to set up my room for live DJ mixing sessions. Yes, LIVE Front of house audio people are the TOP of their game, not 'audiophiles'. Those folks can get under the Midas 400k live board and fix/jury rig it on the spot..
TRIPOD, the plugin is Sakura
Yo let me get that FL give away!! I want to try FL again… I’ve had everything from Maschine, Abelton, MPC, Shudio One… I want to get back to FL after the demo
I hope FL 22 has a Tripod to help other users transitioning from different DAWs
Tripod, I don't see a lot of people talking about Fruity Stereo Shaper but it's such a powerful plugin.
The more I listen to your podcast the more stable my production gets as if you were an additional leg to my own two and we become a tripod
That plug-in is Sakura, 100%.
Tripod Fire episode!
Tripod ! Love you Larry oh
Everyone should know the power of FL
U r the best ever bro .so can u made a video about mixing just with 3rd party plugins iside patcher ...just patcher pllllz
Fantasy mode… and maybe there something that exists already and don’t know about, but I wish there was like a looping recording mode?? Choose amount of bars choose to quantize
Tripod. luv the show.
Look forward to this podcast every tripod!

Hahahah thank you!
Appreciate y’all fr
That’s crazy bro I always use control L I never knew about the shift function!!!
You know Larry, seeing you on this platform has inspired me to tripod too Ya get it?
Tripod! I'm new here and I'm here to stay
I already have a FL studio all plugins license, so I don't need another one (unless It's to give away as well), but the courses, I wouldn't mind getting. 🤭 I've been Recording songs for some friends of mine, these past weeks and FL just needs to hone in in that part, just tweak the recording stage of the DAW and it just smashes everything. They're bringing Scaler-like scripts into the DAW to generate Chord progressions. They just know their audience. And the new Kepler Synth, it's gonna be fun to play around with it! 😁YA TRIPOD ME!
Tripod!!! I would be so happy even just to win your shortcut knowledge lol.... im gunna go with Sakura
26:51 I keep telling people it’s just like starting up a empty template in Protools. It’s literally the same.
You can press 'F1' and anything you have focused will bring up the FL Manual in a browser. Each plug-in should have a video and if not it will have in depth reading per knob. But still would like this FL Image Line videos to be in the DAW itself to help with workflow.
The max i ever roll off is like 35 when i wanna push my kick and 808 harder especially when im planning on using the Apoge Soft Limit(clipper) cause it adds a really dense low end
You're in "image line"
@6:30 with the FL built in demo songs. Those songs are built to show off the new features for each version. But sadly it only has one written note but no true instructions.
I only use Channel rack for adding instruments, then ill only stick to the playlist for work, , I haven't find a good way to combine them yet. It would be great if you could drag the "channels" up and down in the playlist
Tripod 🎉🎉🎉 dope episode
Haha I grew up with the mouse pad. Didn’t use a mouse for almost 2 years
Tripod. Mouse short cuts. Can't wait
Tripod - If I get the courses ima make the switch to FL for sure. (In combo with my MPCs)
Tripod 🎉🎉🎉 don’t be Gatekeeper’s just give it all away music is about creating sharing ideas and collaboration!
gonna need to get my "TRIPOD" for these courses
I don’t see a link to your courses?
TRIPOD I LOVE ALL OF YOUR CONTENT AND WOULD LOVE TO GET YOUR COURSES!!!!
I Use A "TRIPOD" when I make my content and a find very useful! and the fact that I've learned from this podcast is that I really didn't know FL as well as I thought I did. They just keep adding new things to the software and I'm still using FL 12
Tripod 🎉 but love the podcast
GIT IT! 🔥🔥🔥
Hope all your videos help me in college!
tripod enjoying this channel
Perfection
The tripod your camera is standing on must have absorbed a lot of knowledge during these episode drops😅
Tripod... 🔥
TRIPOD, IF YA GET ME!!!! Shoutout to all the fellow FL Studio users!
Tripod. Hi off that morphine lol nice call.
Switched from logic to fl 2 yrs ago collabing with a friend and never changed back. Only use logic for recording guitars
EQ roll off I'd say you should only do right below the lowest note on the bass. If you always roll off at lets say 30hz or 45 as mentioned in the video and the notes go below that, you will lose that note.
Damn that’s bold to put wave shaper on the master
TRIPOD ... TRIPOD .... TRIPOD .... I did it TRI times lol I NEED THEM COURSES MANE!!!!!!
I don't think I'd ever guess correctly when it comes to Guess The Plug In..😮😢😅😂
When are guys gonna make an episode of some of the best equipment and plugins for your money?
TRIPOD , i am getting the course 😏
I prefer to use right click on channel and assign to mixer because it synchronizes the channel, mixer track, and playlist tracks, then on th playlist I right click the track and autoname clip **tripod** ;D
TrIpOd.....figured i would spell it different to increase my odds.....😂
For me it was the channel rack and the mixer not being connected to the channels.
