It's sad that Devon and Meagan split up, but I don't think their marriage was in vain. They fulfilled an important assignment. They promoted celibacy and self-love, which helped a lot of people who were struggling. So even though their relationship didn't last it was still purposeful. I'm sure they learned a lot in their marriage and they will take those lessons with them as they move forward.

Let me sit this right here. I’ve been married for over 13yrs. Nothing about our marriage is perfect or happy 100% of the time, yet he remains mine and I am his. Please get it out of you minds that there must be trouble brewing because the feeling of happiness is absent. Happiness is just that. A feeling. Feelings change CONSTANTLY. It DOES NOT mean that you are faking happiness because you don’t feel happiness consistently. It means you are human.

Not true.II never heard rumors he was gay until this video She repeated what she " heard, which IS the definition of spreading gossip.Using the female voice mimicking and mocking his Instagram post, regarding their divorce, suggesting his sexuality is suspect.Because they decided to go their separate ways but did so without drama, she insinuated they were hiding that he could be gay, as the reason. She pretending she doesnt believe any of it but the entire video is dedicated to putting everything she's heard in a list, attempting to lead others to the conclusion that he is gay, then backing away as if she didn't start the fire.First and foremost her caption/ title, in and of itself is irresponsible and messy😒🙄

They clearly weren’t joined by God. They just found each other attractive and called it God like many people do. 🤷🏿‍♀️. What God joins, only death does it apart. People don’t even know what marriage means. Marriage is you partnering with God to make someone’s life better and helping them reach their destiny. Romance is nice, but it’s not what holds a marriage together.

I think Megan’s time in the industry might’ve had catered to her unhappiness. There’s not much about her cause she is very private, but I can only image how someone being a sex symbol since they were in their teens could really have damaging effects on them. She might’ve thought that marrying a pastor would bring her to some sort of happiness or closer to it-when that wasn’t fulfilled I guess neither the marriage.this is my speculation cause you’re right she never seem quite happy or at peace. Or….it could be neither that. And she wanted to continue her acting while he’s doing what he does and it simply just didn’t work out. They agreed respectfully to go their own ways as mature adults. I hope she finds what she is searching for in herself and not someone else cause that can often lead to many disappointments.

I absolutely saw this coming because out of her own mouth she said I thought he was out of my league I didn't think that I would be able to be with a man like him, him being a man of GOD, stood out to her she knew that he was not the average man and she was not healed from the previous relationship, Devon like what he saw he was into the flesh he enjoyed her look without really finding out what her character was like, when you are unequally yoked from the jump your relationship will not last so it was absolutely a situation where you just knew that they were going to be getting a divorce eventually were married for 9 years because they were both into entertainment movies TV they were always on the road so they saw each other very little and when they did see each other they were knocking boots but that's not the basis of a marriage we all know that, this is definitely something that was so predictable from the jump I knew this was going to happen absolutely and it's unfortunate but prayerfully they both will find the peace and happiness that they desire and they will find who they are equally yoked with 🙏🏿

I’m going to be completely honest, when Devon said in the interview that he didn’t want someone who drank or smoked and he still chose to be with Megan that to me was an indication that the relationship wouldn’t last. If you have dealbreakers stick by them. Because eventually you will feel some type of way about your partner doing certain things. The issue I see is, Devon probably thought he could change Megan and that’s the problem. Do not get with people and then try to change them. If something is a dealbreaker then move on. I’m not saying they weren’t brought together by God. I’m just saying that some of the things we ignore in relationships in the beginning tend to be the things that break couples up later on down the road. I’m not saying one’s to blame more than the other. I wish them the best in life and hopefully they can fully part ways amicably or possibly give the union another chance but either way I wish them the best.

We have to understand that some of our deal breakers maybe God has placed them on our heart for a reason. We have to stick to them and sticking to them is not idolism but wisdom. I think they both still got something beautiful out of this, to me my main concern is just that she still walks with God. Just an input. Before getting married, be on the clear with your partner in what you see in your future, kids especially. Not saying that was the cause for this gorgeous couple's separation, just basing on what Meg once shared(one time she wants to start having kids, next time she don't)--don't do that. When your partner 100% wants them, while you're still going back and forth; it's going to be an issue in the marriage's future, & the pressure that comes with that is so much.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. That back and forth situation is too much. Devon is an A1 Grade great man, and he is doing what he is supposed to do as a man. Megan does the wishy washy thing and it crushes the relationship. They both are good people and we all have flaws, but this one came as a shock to me. In marriage you have to bend a little. Hollywood becomes Hollyweird and I would not have compromised anything when it came to my husband, in which is a good man. The streets is not popular, so why run back to it. Her being a producer now is cool, but she shouldn't let it come between her relationship with Devon. Nevertheless I feel more sorry for Devon because it's hard to find men like him. This world is like a drop in the bucket. It will chew you up and spit you out, because the devil is always out seeking whom he can devour. Megan, being the woman should have focus more on her marriage and not so much into Hollyweird. It comes a time when we all got to sit our butts down and stop Dibble and Dabbling into things that will gobble us in the end. I love Megan, but I'm not fond of how she is doing in these days and times. Life is too short! It's her life and I know he gots to do what's important. I wish them both happiness and success. In my opinion, I would have stayed with my damn husband if I was Megan. He has the best covering for her, in case she didn't know. To each it's own though.😌 👌 😉

They are celebrities, in which I am with a public figure myself. If the news goes out, and I want to Comment on it, I can and I will. The problem with social media is when a person gives a opinion, everyone else wants to challenge their opinion. I said what I said and I'm not changing it. If the rest of you looks at my opinion as judging, then so be it. I like Devon and Megan and wants them to stay together but if they made a mature decision to not do so, then that's their right. But if I choose to put in my two cents, then I will do so. I been raised in the church, and I have left the church. But the truth is the truth...If Megan is living a worldly life and her husband is on a spiritual path, then that would make them not compatible anymore. He can choose to still be with her or not. When you are not on the same path and growing together...it brings more problems in the relationship. From the reports in these blogs say, I'm going on what I heard, not what Devon and Megan has said because I haven't heard them say a damn thing yet. But as my husband says, "I can give my opinion like everyone else!" I will not respond to anymore comments. I said what I said and will say it again. If that's judging to yall, I don't give a damn!

@Paris Holiday, Not quite certain about the statement you made, "she kept her relationship with God, while walking away from her relationship with her husband to protect her boundaries." No judgment, but if she had a true relationship with God, she would have been convicted in several aspects. Her choice of clothing, whether she was married io not, and her relationship with her husband.. Someone once told me respect is greater than love in a marriage. Sounds like she didn't have respect for him, or be sensitive to his desire to have a wife to meet basic requests, cooking, i.e. He in turn was way too willing to compromise his values for her. I honestly felt like Megan wasn't being herself in this relationship. Something was off to me but I pray that they recover. I know they will. I'm wishing them all the best but I really felt this coming and I could imagine that it had to be hard to deal with the separation knowing that they did a book inspired by their relationship.

I hated that moment. It just showed his flesh. His woman did dress badly and while that audience members delivery wasn't great, she had a point but Debjn in his flesh couldn't see it like that. I've seen pastors deal with criticism concerning their family differently to the way Devon dealt with it.

I agree , I loved that moment too. Even if you agree with the lady in the audience, in that moment, the most Christian thing Devon could have done is protect his wife. You don’t let someone publicly trample on your wife like that without repercussions. Now if Devon has an issue with how Megan dresses then they can work that out privately but that was not the forum or Christian way to correct someone. That lady wanted to hurt Megan and make her feel small and I’m glad her husband stepped in and shut it down.

Sometimes even if someone doesn’t pressure you to change you subconsciously change anyway. If you don’t change you become self conscious. I love that my husband doesn’t judge me or force his ideas on me. Instead of changing for the other we grow together. He’s taught me a lot and I’ve taught him a lot. Even though we are opposites. He’s more uptight and I’m more free. We feed off each other. I give him what he’s missing vise versa. He keeps me grounded and I’ve showed him how to let go and have fun.
