In Newton's defense, he also invented calculus In Mozart's defense, his first proffesionally written piece was also the first pirated musical piece in history and he wrote it by hearing it in church and improved on it, so much so that the Pope decreed his version was the only official version instead of having him killed for writing wothout the church's consent and performing the song outside of church

Did you know the British invented music as we know it today. Henry V was a pious King. He loved ecclesiastical music. He wanted to hear it 24 hrs a day in his palace residencies, so he had choristers sing in shifts of morning, day and nights. They had to be the very best singers, so he set up a Royal School of Music, which we know today. Any could apply. The best were given a full time musical and scholastic education. The money they earned were given to their families and improved the lives of sometimes those who came from poor families.,who not only acquired an all round education but a special trade as a trained musician, choirster or musical instrument maker.

Yes. I was a male choirboy for several years (onto past my voice breaking) promoted to head-chorister (paid very well), child of a modest family from a council-house. Actually felt quite elitist during that time not meaning snobbish but special. Choir embarked on RSM training but our choirmaster was killed in a tragic rail accident. Pity we never reached that greatness a village choir could only dream of but we were good. Still remember turning the music sheets ( for the subsequent organist) during a mid-week evening rehearsal of JsBach. Happy life enriching Days.

While experimenting with light, Einstein pushed a needle into his own eye and poked the nerve cluster at the back, just to see what would happen. He also stared at the Sun for so long he started seeing it's afterimage even when he closed his eyes, and had to spend 3 weeks in a dark room for it to fade. Not the smartest bloke IMHO. And as someone who studied maths and physics, I don't think he was even in the same league as people like Isaac Newton, Huygens, Ramanujan or Laplace, to be honest.

Meir Wise Mozart wasn’t much of a genius, his piano playing was far less great compared to Haydn or Beethoven, other composers of the time. Plus his compositions are much more simplistic and formulaic. No doubt he’s a great musician, but far from a virtuoso or a genius.

@@tagapiouplayz3737 The closest thing Mozart had to a modern piano was the fortepiano and many of his solo pieces are tailored to harpsichord; pieces like beethoven's moonlight sonata would've sounded extremely out of place at the time. Mozart was better at writing operas and orchestra concertos.

Ok, ok, I get he's joking and probably doesn't mean it, but I'll have to disagree with him on Mozart. How many of you managed to compose a tune that hundreds of years later some bloke will play on a piano in a comedy gig?...didn't think so.
