Watching him work the room is a pleasure!
It takes enormous skill to walk out on stage and make a show out of talking to an audience and getting laughs in return. He,s making it up as he goes along. Very clever

Its all scripted Michael !! (only joking) There is a technique he uses. He's done thousands of gigs over the years in this character and has gathered a huge amount of material. He's met thousands of people that do the same sort of jobs and the same names. So if a particular job title comes up or name he has a huge archive of jokes that apply. It's still a joy to watch.

This guy Is a comic genius!!!!
If you never seen Al Murray live, you should. I have no idea how he can remember everyone, their names, where they sit and what they do. Its the best live act I've ever seen. Ive seen him several times one time 2 nights apart and there was almost nothing in common between the two gigs!

History knowledge is ace. And he's a fellow drummer. Two reasons I like the guy, other this hilarious stand up of course.
No doubt you know but al Murray is a top top dude but also very educated and smart man. It's his entanglement with the crowd that nobody else does. Pure class!!

I always dismissed him as one of those outrageous, stupid comedians because of the way he portrays himself. Then I actually stopped and listened. It blew my mind how funny and smart he is.
This bloke plays an audience like no one else I've ever seen, and all as someone a 180 from his true self, genius.
I've seen Al live and he is very funny. Works the crowd for 20 plus minutes, then a tailored routine for the area. Very good.
Love that he can do - AND DOES - an act in a basement in Paris.👏👏👏👏👏😂😂😂😂😂 Not many other comedians would or could do this.
Only al Murray mocks the french in such fashion while in Paris
One of the funniest and most intelligent comedians ever is Al Murray.
watchable many times - great comic talent at work - warms the cockles of the heart , as the landlord himself might say.
The timing of Benny Hill when mixing dialogue with facial expressions. I can pay him no greater compliment, I just love this man, an absolute genius.
I've never laughed at a stand up like that before, brilliant.
He’s made me laugh out aloud during COVID lockdown. Far better entertainment than any of the TV channels here in the U.K.
Ground work! all respect to comics , this one made it...
god how talented youd have to be to constantly maintain such a good character, its so convicing, from the mannerisms, to the accent. amazing.
His improvisation is amazing!

He is a genius with a fantastic memory!
It takes courage, wit , intelligence and quick thinking to mock the French in Paris. Congratulations!
Excellent! Good to see him at a small gig abroad. Very funny as always.
Fuck me......he found a room full of "Remainers"!!!!! Never seen that before.
It's surprising how few professional stand-up comedians can work a room, Al Murray is brilliant at it
Nothing short of genius
Cannot remember laughing so much for a long time...:)
An incredible improviser.
I can't praise him enough.
This is absolutely wonderful!
Sounds even better the second time. BRILLIANT.
Humour at its pinackle 😄
I would LOVE to go pub-hopping with Al Murray, most hilarious stand up comedian of ALL TIME, but I don't wanna wake up in police custody.

Outstanding parody 👍😂
Fantastic...cheers Karel
Enormous skill, YES, add confidence and nerve. His speed of recall is amazing. Great gig, pity the sound wasn't tested and sorted first. None the less, well up to standard performance.
Bloody marvellous
What an amazing audience. Not a proper job between them, yet there they are in Paris drinking away, laughing at a parody of the British working class, not realising that they are the subject and Al Murray is just a commentator. Genius.

He still knows a lot by heart, which is why his take on the Euro Crisis or his explanation as to why Great Brittain defeated every country in the world at least once are one of the best pieces of satire which I've ever heard. What I find even more stunning, however, is that he's able to memorize several names of people in the front row at every gig he does, and that he creates material on the fly according to those people's trade. First of all, it's really funny and second, I myself could never do that, I am not that sharp ;)

The thing is most Europeans learn English as well as their own language at school. In the words of Al that's so the English don't have to bother learning another language:) most of the crowd were English. Why they want to live in FRANCE is beyond me.

If you didn't see his superb TV series he hates the French because his wife leaves him for a French Publican played by David Walliams. I wonder if he got chance to see his son Karlsberg while he was in France :7)
What do u do Anne? "Nothing" Go on girl
Ha ha ha. Cracking.
Contrast this audience with his O2 gig where they are mostly just idiots who don't seem to realise it's a piss take. Still, big show, good money for him, good luck to him. I think he's hilarious.
