The Prophet P.B.U.H told us that: “Every innovation is going astray, and every going astray will be in the Fire.🔥🔥🔥 ” Muslim (867) and an-Nasaa’i (1578). ( innovation (Biddah) is all newly invented deeds which the Prophet P.B.U.H did not mention).“This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My Favour upon you , and have chosen for you Islam 😊 as your religion” Quran 5 : 3 ⚠️ Please note the perfected & complete religion was without any biddah ❌. Many muslims continue to do biddah by claiming this is biddah hasanah ( Good newly invented deed ). These people should ask themselves is they such thing as good Alcohol 🍺❓ The answer is NO as every Alcohol 🍺 is forbidden. The Prophet P.B.U.H said Every Biddah is forbidden 🚫 , there is no such thing as good biddah. Another EXAMPLE on Biddah Hasana ➡️ If someone was to say we should do 3 sujood in one Rakat instead of 2 to gain more Reward. The reply he will get is the Prophet P.B.U.H ordered us to do 2 therefore 3 is not an OPTION,. Likewise Biddah is Not an OPTION 🚫. Please note even if someone was to say to you 3 sujood is better than 2 because you will be in sujood to Allah more & praising Allah more , the reply you will still get is No No No

The truth is, the ONLY sect that will enter paradise is the one that follows QURAN & HADITH. Every firqa claims to be following the QURAN & HADITH : Yet the sect they are following will be teaching against the QURAN & HADITH on many matters. The main problem is people connect to a firqa & then end up going along with whatever they have been taught. No person should join a firqa, we should follow Allahs order QURAN & HADITH ONLY : IF a person IGNORES joining any sects & instead STRICTLY follows the QURAN & HADITH, after a while people will start naming him as a member of a firqa Which l am not going to mention now : However this PROVES which FIRQA is CORRECT. So the Way to be successful is follow QURAN & HADITH Only : No FIRQA.

The people did not become idol worshippers overnight, Shaytan led them astray stage by stage...what started as a bidah mushroomed into lots of evils down the line. So the whole point in being harsh on bidah is to stop the evil at the root like the Sahaba did, i think this was a point that was missed in this lecture.

This is the right position of a good muslim without a hiding agenda. MashaAllah .I have made up my mind that's, I'm not going to be listening to any other sheikh except you because of how you always quote from the sharia unlike others who try to make something haram or halal etc.

Samina Tasnuva Rasulullah s.a.w also prayed for the victims of Rajii and Bir Mauna after every 5 prayers for a month. Prayers and solah are not bid’ah. Rasulullah s.a.w did it. Prayers and solah for something specific according to current issues are also not bid’ah. Rasulullah s.a.w did it before. Hope that answers your question.

I dont see bro Yasir address the issue of the hadith on following the rightly guided Kulafar and reconciling that whatever they did we follow, but we are not allowed to invent our own ideas. Instead he said Umar and Uthman did Bidah, but did they have the right to do so? And it is upon us to follow them? And not to invent our own?

Is it not an important point that fasting on monday and ashura was done as a "comemorarion" while specifically fasting is something that opposes the concept of an eid and therefore we are prohibited from fasting on an eid and a Friday specifically as a special day 🤔

Don't you fast on the day of arafah , even it's an Eid ?? So is it prohibited to fast on this Eid ?? Uqbah bin Amir that the Messenger of Allah said: “The day of Arafat and the day of sacrifice and the day of At-Tashriq are our eid, the people of Islam, and they are days of eating and drinking.” (Hasan) SUNAN NASEEI (Vol. 3, Book 4, Hadith 3007) ABU DAWOOD (Book 13, Hadith 2413) SUNAN TIRMIDHI (Book 4, Hadith 92)

Why are the technical terms of bid'ah dangerous? Islam is a perfect religion That which is perfect is not tampered with. "Today i have finished & completed & perfected my favour (religion) upon you"

I am a Hanafi who believes in the Mawlid and just like Dr. Sahib like to mind my own business. Dr. Sahib is a great scholar Masha'Allah and has given a very balanced perspective from both sides May Allah reward him with more knowing so we can benefit from him. Aameen

@@sheldoncooper7323 Allah judges on intentions. If you don't celebrate it then that's your choice. My comment was to show how Dr Sahib handled the topic in an unbelievable way not to start a Mawlid debate which has been going on for centuries. Peace brother.

Celebrating birthday or death day of rasulullah(sm) is bid'ah. But just gathering for praising rasulullah(sm) or whatnot on 12th rabiul awal or any other day without the intention of celebration of his birthday is not bid'ah. But on that day it's nearly impossible to maintain the track of the niyah. And it's also not possible for us to recognize who is celebrating birthday and who has just gathered together to praise rasulullah(sm). Am I not right my dear beloved shaikh?

Dr. Yasir:: with due respect: What is the difference between Linguistically and Technically speaking? Every word has root word and lexicons offers us the meanings. Then we have language grammar. Isn’t this sufficient to understand a meaning of the word in context. You have rightly Pointed out the meaning of Bidaa linguistically as well as correctly cited the Quranic meaning. But why technically Speaking the meanings are changed (you mentioned Salat meaning)? The word Salat means to follow Closely or perform duty closely. So why technically speaking according to you we do what we do? Please clarify . Thank you.

Assalamu Aleikum Ya sheikh. I'm Imran from Sri Lanka. I've watched hundreds of videos. But I am confused with this subject. My Muslim community is doing more worse things in the name of Islam. The actual rituals in the Sunnah are forgotten. Younger generation doesn't realize the truth. And they also defending their innovations. But their intentions are to please the Allah(S). My opinion is that Sunnahs should be followed as they are. I was speaking against them even with my family members.....But now...I don't know... I give up ...I am confused. Allah knows the Best.

Simple formula you can use Every act of worship is haram until it is proven to be halal Every wordly matter is halal until it is proven to be haram You can't simply pray 5 rakat frz instead of 4 to please Allah.

Imām shafi did not allow bidah. He classes bidah hasana as the linguistic bidah and not the technical bidah. But Yasir qadhi is saying he classed it as a good technical bidah which is not true. Please read up on the subject if anyone feels uneasy about some of the information in this lecture.

As salamu alaykum, beloved Shaykh! There have been some mistakes in your talk. Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah didn't consider doing a wird/wazeefa for a specified number of times or at a specified time to be Bid'ah. Ibn al Qayyim quotes from Ibn Taymiyyah in Madaarijus Salikeen that Shaykhul Islam had a particular wird that he used to recite after the sunnah of Fajr. One of the temporary great scholars Shaykh Hatem al Awni, whom you have met personally, has an excellent concise and comprehensive lecture series on Bid'ah. I respect your opinions, and I do agree with a lot of your points to an extent, but I don't agree with the Mawlid bit. I believe Mawlid should not be celebrated.

Tbh there's no evidence of Mawlids in the first 3 generations and the evidence used to justify Mawlids are really weak arguments. They take authentic Hadith and try to spin it into Mawlid.

Moulid is indeed innovation. No justification. It must be rejected.

Subhaanallah he sounds like a true deobandi very fair and Frank not biddah crazy whitewashing everything like miserable salafis but saying exactly what is problematic with celebrating with mawlid in the way people are doing it ..

The day Imam of Kaaba checks each Saff manually before starting salat, like it should be done according to Sunnah then I will take the "All Bidah is wrong" crowd seriously. You go to Jannat-ul-Baqi and the Sheikhs who are guarding the graves telling people about "Bidah" are themselves doing Bidah by guarding the grave but dont realize it. All of this is cleverly justified under fiqhi technicalities. All Bidah cant be wrong because through Ijtihad done by proper scholars new things can be added to the religion which would not be Bidah.

after 9:59 ditched his speech...Has our prohpet(p.b.h.) told everything 100% clearly? no. Does that mean that he failed his job?NO. Thats why there are scholars...

I don't think it helps the Ummah to be united as one, quoting obscure opinions of Scholars which has no backing with daleel. Just mere opinion. Ekhwan Muslimoon always go on about unity etc, yet they divide with illigimate ikhtilaf, opinions etc and return to the book and the Sunnah upon the way if the Sahabah to unite the Ummah. Good Bidah has no basis in our Deen no matter which great Scholar says it

Be careful brother, you are talking about great scholars like Imam Shafi’i. These are the people who transmitted the deen to us. The very Imams who are in the chains and taught the Islam to many narrators of those very ahadith which the deen is based upon. To say that I or you understand the deen better than these scholars who were way closer to the sahabas and infact learned religion from the students and children of sahaba is a dangerous path to take.

I respect Yasir Qadhi and he is very clever MashaAllah but i've seen ikhwani tendencies from him recently. I'm by no means calling or labelling him an ikhwani or slandering him. Bidah is something that shouldn't be practised or ignored. We have to speak out against it and promote tawheed and the correct aqeedah.

You've made an accusation but failed to substantiate it. What "ikhwani tendencies" exactly? Firstly, what do you understand to be "ikhwani", as there's no agreed upon definition of it nor does the Qur'an or Sunnah say it is good/bad. Secondly, it seems you can't tolerate academic nuance. Are you implying he is sugar-coating bid'ah? He is Athari in 'aqeeda so I don't know why you assume so negatively.

Disagree with the learned brother on one fundamental issue, when he constantly refers to Hadiths after Hadiths which are the source of ALL the Bidah let us open the Al Quran and ponder over the verses and Allah SWT will guide to the truth. Salam.

Don't celebrate mawlid and birthday . Say salawt only , Allah taught many salawt for his true believers (rahmathullahi) they who needs helps from evil that time they get salawat in dream ! some people prove the salawat Nariya is not true but that salawat is very helpful for black magic .
