Yeah Makki! Great to see you! I said a while ago that having overcome everything you've been through you deserve the best and it sounds like you're well on your way there! My dad was a brilliant aeronautical engineer but I was more the nuts and bolts person too. Had a chance to work with him in a company he started after retiring and it was good times. At 76 I'm still wondering about my purpose too but just keep plugging along LOL! All the best to you and thank you Ben for the nice update on Makki Films!

Holy s*** this interview just blew my mind😂 I made my bones in South Jersey surfing in the '70s and '80s. I thought for sure the best thing that could happen to Makki would have been a clerk at 7-Eleven.😂 Never judge a book by its cover!

We love Makki because he's so open and honest, not always trying to put shine on himself, an everyman.

Speaking as an engineer, the software from parent's company is legit. Very interesting Makki.

Great interview, good to see makki pursuing a challenging direction. I left Hawaii after 10 years of surfing the north shore of kauai. Watched Andy and Bruce irons grow up. I was around for the beginning of laird Hamilton ascent. I got to surf with Mark acculopo. Then it came time to get serious. With a little urging from hurricane iniki and one last surfing accident I kissed island life goodbye. After a couple of year acclimating to n.e indiana life I buckled down to nearly four years of college at the age of 40. I well be retiring from the field of cardiology diagnostics after nearly 25 years. So, you go makki. Make an impact in life, you are but 27. Many years ahead, I can see you and your brother developing software and hardware for the future of vlogging. Good on ya mate.

All the best to your friend. Cool shot of the CH-53 carrying an F-35. Was lucky enough to have been in 2nd ANGLICO in the Marines. The unit trained us how to call in close-air-support and Naval Gun fire, kind of like Col Kurtz. Of course I escaped going nuts and starting a cult in a jungle since I'm a bodyboarder and receive a heavy does of Tube-Therapy from time time. But, I gotta tell ya, every time I see the Blue Angles, all I really want to do is talk to a pilot on a radio, and tell him where the bad guys are hiding. BTW, the Marines is the best service for surfers. Most of their bases are on a coast as they are an amphibious organization. (But I got jealous of a guy who served in the Navy as a Riverine Boat Operator like the Chief in Apocalypse Now.)

I sleep and have vivid dreams...up to two years later a lot of them manifest and I'll get the maddest dejavu. I've had mad experiences of dreaming about some one I've not seen in 30 years and seen them in the pharmacy 30min after waking. That's just the tip of "spiritual" experiences. Love the interview.
