Hello brothers out you there. One thing for sure African Americans don't know how much we love them. Since the 1950's we played their music especialy performed by the AA.s. watched their music, tried to talk in their accent, and a lot. But since the real South Africa came into existance we never looked back. We were overwhelmed. Us as South Africans are running short of words of appreciation. You are home in the Mother land, enjoy the blood and sweat of our forefathers. Enjoy your stay in the sunny South Africa.

What an opportunity for a developer with capital. There is plenty of farm land marked for mix development. Literally another Blue Valley estate can marshroom by N14 and Malibonwe Drive towards the Lensaria Airport. Gautrain company has even confirmed the 2025 to 2027 extention construction of Fast Train extention from Sandton, Via Fourways and Northriding to Lenseria Airport. Another plus to development. There is also the new City proposed for the West Rand. Literally if I were a developer I'd stretch and spread my wings back to mother land. And get a piece of the pie.

Like any other country, we have a myriad of problems. Currently, we are experiencing the power cuts (loadshedding) because of the greedy, corrupt politicians. We hope to remove the remove them in the coming elections next year. The other thing is the level of inequality and poverty. Especially among black folks. You'll notice it quite quickly. Experience of crime is subjective. My first and last incident was in 2004, I was robbed, and my cellphone was taken. You'll meet mean people here and there, but generally, we are friendly people.

In fact…. aid from the USA isn’t needed in South Africa. They have plenty ability to manage off its resources. So precisely if we are forced to pay them at properly for resources. Most of the time me the “aid” gets in the way of self development and the USA knows it. But South Africa, like most of Africa, fears the reaction of aid is rejected. It’s like having a 500 pound man seen being a beer to a 250 pound man. Reject and “offend” at your peril. I remember one day coming across a USAID vehicle and stunned. The notion of giving “aid” is confusing to most people. Giving aid means more to the USA than the recipients.

Yes, demanded by who ? As a South African, we want people who build (not bomb), connect (not colonise), and who are into diplomacy (not ‘deployment’ or destabilisation )., and who will participate in reconstruction (not ‘regime change’). We also do not want to be another US state like Hawaii, where the colonisers came in, took the prime areas, kicked out the locals, who can no longer afford to live there. SA is a great country, but it has its own problems like most other places in the world. So we need people who are here with a constructive and open-hearted mindset, who would like to invest in, and integrate into our society. Those who come to do so will find a warm welcome.
