In today's video, I give you my top 3 Real Secrets to Mastering the Crossover! These simple basketball crossover moves are super easy to implement for players at every level. By implementing these dribbling combo moves into your game you can almost immediately skyrocket your shooting scoring and your overall basketball skill level!
My first key to mastering the crossover is what I call "Tempo Change" tempo is something that goes overlooked when it comes to ball handling, but it is extremely important if you want an elite crossover! If you look at the elite ball handlers in the NBA think of guys like Kyrie Irving and Stephen Curry both guys do a fantastic job of keeping the defense guessing with how they use tempo. Another great thing about tempo is it helps you create massive separation on all of your moves because you are using the defense's momentum against them!. So if you want to really skyrocket your scoring you absolutely need to implement the push cross pull back into your game! Make sure you implement lots of tempo when working on your crossover if you really want to break ankles EASY!
The second tip to mastering the crossover is something that all the top NBA guards do and that is manipulating the defense with your "eyes" This tip alone can help you to limit turnovers and break ankles way more often than you ever have in the past. If you slow down a lot of Stephen Curry highlights he does an absolutely amazing job of moving the defense with his eyes which leads to a ton of ankle-breaking crossover moves! Also, look at a guy like Kyrie Irving who is arguably the most elite ball-handler in the NBA both do an awesome job of getting the defense to move with eye manipulation! This is a great thing for guards to do to move the defender out of position just slightly so you can blow by or create enough space to get a shot off.
Our last secret to mastering the crossover and how to break ankles easy is "ball control"! ball control is a great tip for a player simply because its a great way to read the defense and make the proper play while keeping your dribble alive at all three levels of your body. You see this done a ton in pick and roll situations guys like Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry have made a living by having the ball on a string and making the proper read based on what the defense gives them! This is a super simple tip but if you can implement it into your game you'll surely be able to skyrocket your ball handling capabilities.
At the end I take you through my top 3 secret drills to help you master the crossover! So make sure you watch the video all the way through so you can learn how to break ankles easy with these elite basketball dribbling tips!
As always make sure you are paying close attention to these basketball scoring tips so when the time comes you can really expand your game to the next level! Watch the video all the way through and implement these basketball dribbling tips into your game today!

    Hello coach! I have a question about one of the reasons that my shot is broke, you have video called “ 3 more reasons why your shot is broke” and there was a reason called” set point timing”! it means that when your hips are down, the ball should be down and when the ball is in the shot path, your feet should be straight and on toes, ready to explode! My question is that, do you have any drills to fix that problem? Thanks anyways! Keep grinding 💯

  • @rafhaelrheypogoy

    @rafhaelrheypogoy

    4 жыл бұрын

    It means you have fake look to the other side that you want to go. Example is if you want to drive left, you have to hesi crossover to the right with the fake eye sellout to make your opponent think you are going to that side. If the opponent bites to that move, you could finish your crossover to the left and finish the basket. You can do it vice versa. I hope this could help you understand much better.
