The Real Roxanne - The Real Roxanne (Lyrics)
Музыка
Artist/Group: The Real Roxanne
Album: N/A
Released: 1985
Label: N/A
--------------------------------------------------
The second most famous answer record to Roxanne, Roxanne.
It came out shortly after the first and most famous of the response records, and employes largely the same strategy as that track, taking on the persona of Roxanne, dissing the three MCs from UTFO’s track one at a time, and replying to specific lines of their song. It even uses a few of the same disses as the original response, such as saying that the Doctor doesn’t know how to “operate.”

Don’t forget Larry Larr’s Cadillac
This brings back memories. Breakdancing at 7 and one of the older kids in the neighborhood gave me a true mix-tape. It was this, egypt, white lines, and a few others on it. I had to hide it from my mom, but I'd be out there doing windmills, backflips (but landing on my knees) popping- n -locking with my dollar store radio that i didn't even have batteries for so i had to find a plug outside in the apts where we lived in. My mom actually hand beaded and sequined a micheal Jackson glove for me😅. It was the early 80s, though, and i was obsessed with breakdancing and hip-hop. I will say i was doing some shit the much older kids couldn't and that gave me some confidence to keep trying other things like flipping off someone's hand and not landing on my knees over and over again. Good ol' days.
"Me the Rox give up the Box so you can brag about it for the next six blocks" Still makes me laugh like when I heard it for the 1st time at age 13 at Junior High School in 1985 😁.
The Best song!! Knew every word by heart. My friend and I still entertain people with our rapping.. LOL

Same ! I use to be a Pepsi Break Dancer doing malls and schools etc
Wow! The break dancin' days. I was 13. Good times!
I grew up listening to this music in the 1980s loved it
Damn this so awesome. I remember this from 84ish? With out this there would be a Queen and TLC. ❤❤
Picture a scrawny bean pole blonde 5th grade girl with a terricloth headband doing this song for the talent show in Cedar Rapids Iowa, without the teachers knowing what it would be. I'm not saying that was ME. But I do still have all the lyrics memorized.

Keeping it live in 1985!! Good times. I was in the 11 grade back then.
Classic. Old Skool Rap/Hip Hop! The flyest dis’ track of all time. IMHO
Correction. This version was sung by the Original Roxanne. Elease….. not the real Roxanne or Shante
Finally the lyrics. Over 36 years waiting for this

I think it’s Larry Larr. But yeah... it’s funny how whomever made this didn’t know that. Larry “Larry Larr” Smith is legendary.

Thank you!!!!! I'm glad someone cleared that up for me 😂
She Look Cool
She's dropping triple, quadruple rhyme combos 🤨. Back in the 80's
Instead of this search up Robert Bacon the real Roxanne and tap the first one pls
her rhyme was way harder.
Electro 6
This cadence is what white people sound like when the 'adults' try their hand at rapping in 80's and 90's movies.
Bro, im bouta start a band with the real roxanne
