i watched De Bruyne in a training video and i was impressed with his shooting and in his early career he was a good dribbler ,, i waned him to play instead of Oscar who play like a Magician in one game and goes missing in 10 games in a row ..

Yeah I was at their 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge in the 13/14 UCL. When at the games you can really tell who stands out and he was by far and away the best player on the pitch.

Abramovich is the most successful owner in the football business by far, try and buy his club now, it will cost you 5 time more than the money he has invested in, and I can tell you he's way ahead of what other owners are thinking. Players come and go, but a good owner doesn't come along that often.

Some Players just play better under a different Manager, playing a different stile, for a different Club. Lets face it, de Bruyne did not come to life until he joined City and Salah was a nobody, second rate Player before he joined Liverpool. If he left Liverpool, he would probably become again what he was before joining Liverpool. Lukaku seems to be the same. Mourinho was more concerned about his own success and legacy. He only trusted established players who were more likely to win him games. At a club like Chelsea where you could get fired for finishing second, his job security was his priority, not players' development. Hopefully, Tuchel can integrate more young players into the team and still win. It's sad to see many talented young players end up like Piazon.

Kelvin and Salah where at Chelsea at the wrong time, Mourinho’s Chelsea was so packed with men working for the manager and getting in that team was so hard because non of them were even getting injured back then . It was so hard for the young lads

When you really think about it, there were multiple teams that helped Liverpool get to this point. But, that's the "Hindsight" that makes us all fall in love with the game of football. This was was a true Cinderella story.

ppl forget that those players didnt play the same way they do today, and that if you were a couch and you had the team you had and your job on the line at any given point, you wouldnt make decisions that could cost you heavily, not to mention the ego of the older players like matta for example, whcih at that time was said to be one of the best at his role, in the end its probably something due to the owners of cheasea not letting coaches do a long time goal of 3 seasons and throwing coaches under the oven and taking it out raw instead of letting it cook.

duff and robben were at mourinho's reign in chelsea from 2004-2007. robben was very young back then and had very little game time despite winning PFA young player of ther year 2005. Its kinda stupid to sell him actually

Thank you so much for so eloquently expressing a view I have long held. Simple premise, 'Mourinho is a fraud'. He had NO idea how to develop these promising young greats. He could ONLY succeed coaching the finished article. Great losses for my team Chelsea, further proof of Fraudinho's short comings.

It’s sad though coz the Chelsea players who kept Debryne and Salah in bench are currently playing somewhere in less significant leagues or they’re past their prime. For example, Willian and Hazard. Salah couldn’t compete with these two hence the reason why he was benched. Oscar was ruling the number 10 role back then with Mikel and Lampard playing exceptionally well in our midfield which as a result debryune couldn’t cut it. And now these two are the main characters of the league title race saga we’ve been witnessing in these past few seasons between Liverpool and Man City.

I've always said, if you're a young or creative player you are highly unlikely to flourish under Mourinho.

No he could not have benched Ballack . He left Chelsea three years before . Lampard was on his last season … he was 35 or 36 . Mourinho never looks any further than the current season . In terms of assists per game , de Bruyne scores far better .

Mourinho was the one who built that title winning squad. fabregas and costa were very essential to that team winning the title. its easy to look back now and criticise mourinho or whoever sold these players. But they were all young and needed patience. But at Chelsea if managers don't start winning from their first game, they will be out of the club. Mourinho had to choose between young Debruyne, Salah and lukaku against more established players like Mata and Willian. Other players like Oscar and Hazard were already much better at the time. Mourinho winning that title proves he was right to do so.

We should've and could've won the league 3 times in a row and reached the CL semi at least twice, if it wasn't for his ego and dinosaur tactics in some games (Vs atletico 13/14, vs psg 14/15 and 15/16)

@@Steven-uk2fz idk about that. But what he did do was arrive at Chelsea when players like Drogba, Lampard, Cole, Terry, Cech were all close to retirement and built a title winning squad.
