I appreciate everyone's thoughts on my motorcycle, if you don't like how they look or how it sounds that's completely fine. Don't do it on your bike.

Burtoni Motors I understand your reasoning of spending that amount of money however might as well buy a welder and some tools make your costume one exhaust🤔

I'll leave building a custom exhaust to the professionals.
I totally agree with you and does sound great, I also have a picture of the 2 custom RE 650's. 😎
totally understand this........I am thinking just a straight pipe......old school

Once you hear how good it sounds, it’s hard to ever think about putting them back on
The beauty of owning a bike is the customizing per your own desire. Not just the look but the sound are your own. 😁👍

100% agreed. I appreciate the comment as people are a bit down on me doing what makes me happy on my bike.

No. The too-loud sound is something that *everyone* has to listen to.
People saying no baffels will damage ur bike, have it mixed up with the old 80s trick of removing your airfilters for lil pod types, unblocking any exaust only increases performance(very mildy) no effect on the engine, infact it maybe benefiacial as less deposits build up on cylheads etc
Who knew Gordon Ryan loved motorcycles!

The stock headers have cats built in.... if you want to straight pipe it you need aftermarket headers... and yes its alot louder/deeper once you decat it.
As long as you tune it it should be fine. It's probably fine without a tune but just incase.
Each year for the longest time every late winter I get the urge to get a bike. But I really like the Continental GT, would you recommend it to a beginner? Harleys are too expensive at the moment and I’m not a fan of quicker sporty bikes that sound like a blender running dry. I’ve been doing a lot of researching and there’s a guy who got pipes in Australia, maybe you could check it out. Custom exhaust vs stock from Throttle downunder, they aren’t exactly what you were looking for but just a thought. Love your vids on this bike.

I hope in the 2yrs that you got your first bike. I just bought an gt650 a couple days ago as my first bike and it’s great! Not too much low torque but enough power, bike feels solid and smooth on the road and sounds freaking awesome!!

Dude he’ll yeah! I ran mine with it straight piped for a while but got scared because everyone told me it was gonna screw with the engine. Good to know it was fine, I’ll have to go back too it!

"Emgo Slash Cut" slip-ons are probably what you're looking for and they don't cost much.

Have you changed the air filter??
I just bought a continental 2021. And want to take off the pipes and heat wrapping them black. Thats going to look so nice. And sound nice.

There are pros/cons of heat wrapping those pipe, lot of people have had rust issues.

Burtoni Motors I’ll shoot a pic over when I get off work haha 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Same on a continental GT 535?
I’ve wanted to remove the exhausts of my continental gt, but everything looks so plain. If I gotta spend on a muffler, it should look different. I personally prefer a quiet bike, but I’ll tolerate a loud pipe if the bike looks dope.

I was going to buy a louder exhaust. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I drilled out the front and back of the stock mufflers about 15mm. It now has a nice bark, louder but not too much. Runs great, sounds great. I'll leave it as is. 👍
Might be getting a gt650 soon and wanna do something similar but thought it might be a bit too loud. ever considered putting baffle inserts in?
@BurtoniMotors
4 жыл бұрын
I've never thought about putting baffles in, but you could definitely do an insert.
I'm in the same boat as you. All those massive cans plus the angled pipes remind me of police bikes. not the image I have in my head of a cafe racer.
Won't it damage the engine in long term "running the bike without mufflers".???

Google said it doesnt... not really sure. Maybe just keep the valve tolerances in check?
:How raw do you want this video to be *Yes

A little revv would have earned you my countless blessings..... Sigh!
did you ever find a short exhaust for your royal. i like the ss motocorp one i just dont know how to get it into the US. here is a clip of it kzread.info/dash/bejne/dYmdmLSEc9zXoKQ.html
This Ike is so cheap why would you ever sell it. The k-speed pipe is sick though.
Buy another pair of stock pipes and cut these pipes that u have right now but I don't know how much those pipe costs in ur area 😂
You are Indian right? RRP is very low quality if you can compare to other international brand.

Like am I from India? No. Am I of Indian descent? Also no. But, You can look at RRP products and know the quality is quite low, that’s why I don’t run them.
