The Real Reason Whiskey Is Healthier Than Any Other Drink

Ойын-сауық

When comes to drinking alcoholic beverages, health usually doesn’t come to mind. It’s more about enjoying life and letting loose. While that's all fair and fun, have you ever wondered what the healthiest alcoholic beverage is?
Many would point to a glass of red wine, as many studies have suggested that a glass of it before bed can actually benefit your health, but there is also scientific research that indicates a glass of whiskey is worth exploring.
Whiskey on the rocks and by a fire has never hurt anyone, and if it can boost your health, that sounds like a win-win. Here is the real reason whiskey is healthier than any other drink.

Mashed shackleton blended scotch whisky on the rocks or cold stones. For red wine bordeaux blend, montepulciano d’abruzzo, cabernet sauvignon, or pinot noir 6-9 oz in a stemless glass. Shackleton because for a blend its smooth with a little pete note as it goes down the throat. And the red wines for the antioxidants and fruit undertones throughout each.

rum because the point of drinking is to get a buzz, i mean are you really going to try to say you are destroying your organs because you like the flavor of whiskey, the higher up the food chain you go the worse the whiskey gets at arpund a $100 bottle it turns into ashtray juice blended with paint thinner "yum so good, but i'm totally not drinking this to get buzzed...i like it for the rich note of burnt hair"

That's bs lmao. Alcohol is bad for heart or cancer too, don't be fooled. A few things in it that can benefit your body don't make the alcohol less poisonous.. I get it if you like a drink like that but an advertisement like this sends a wrong message and contributes to ppl getting addicted or abusing alcoholic drinks..

Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

I vaguely remember my fraternal great grandmother, but do remember her as a presence that was hard to ignore. My family said she drank sour mash whiskey everyday of her adult life and that it would be the death of her. If finally was at the tender age of 98!

It would be interesting to know if the type/process of whiskey made a difference. I don't see how grain-based vodka would not have the exact same anti-bacterial properties. Is it a specific grain at work? Did they test clear, unaged whiskey; perhaps the time spent in charred oak barrels might be involved?

@@jamescsjrwork9516 Do you know if a specific style of whiskey is the best or are all of them basically the same? I'm wondering if Scotch, Bourbon etc. are any better than one another, but can't find any info on this.

Not all types of whiskey is aged in charred barrels, though many whiskey makers do use ex bourbon barrels due to availability and adding some flavor, and those are charred

I and my family hold the merits of whiskey in the highest esteem. Starting the day out right......., from the baby bottle for junior, to our morning OJ or coffee, a great pick-me-up throughout the day, always with lunch, never not at the dinner table and as a splash with milk and cookies before bed, it's the bessshhht..........

I'm 19 years old next year and i enjoy whisky so much especially scotch on the rocks, it's got a satisfying smoky aroma a fulfilling taste. I used to drink craft beers, ciders occasionally other spirits but whisky became my poison at first i did it to look cool but now i actually enjoyed it ever since because of it's taste, i have one or two fingers of Scotch every 1 or 2 weeks.
