Removing the oof sound is like: 1. Removing creepers from minecraft. 2. Removing pan from Pubg. 3. Removing default dance and building from Fortnite. 4. Removing tears from The Binding of Isaac. 5. Removing gyms from Pokemon (oh... wait...) 6. Removing "Objection!" from Ace Attorney. 7. Removing jumping from Geometry Dash. 8. Removing Eye Of Chtulhu from Terraria. 9. One thing I wanted to clarify, in 2006 the place Roblox got the sound pack from was a piracy website, they did not buy it. The internet was a lot different in 2006 and that site was either shutdown a week later or it was the piratebay. Most likely someone at Roblox got this sound and didn't tell how they got it, because of Roblox being new they probably didn't care and just was in a rush to push the game out.

In the audio section of creator marketplace, they replaced every single audio file with the sound waves that make the old oof sound, with the "baby farting" oof sound

The oof die effect will be missed by all of us. I hope they add the sound shop/market that would be so cool, thanks kreek I never knew about this untill now 😊

Yes i realized that the oof sound has been removed its now that weird sound. Also if you press the escape button in any Roblox game and go to settings and click on one of the blue blocks it used to be the oof sound and now its the weird death sound origin. solution: for the game that anyone makes just replace make your own sound free asset (i think that's how it works) and make that sound play every time the player dies. Edit: i think the sound marketplace is required for this to work tho

Either way, if they remove it or not, I'm still changing the audio. Even if they keep changing the file, I'll rewrite the code, so it loads in the old oof sound instead of the new oof sound. I might make adjustments to the code aswell so the sound randomizes each time. OOF also the captions are accurate this time. I wonder if kreek edited them.

They should not have paid but instead made the market place a year ago

to be honest, roblox taking away oof sound from us is literally taking our SOULS. literally imagine that oof sound being there wit us for so many years and getting replaced by a cats sneeze? like couldn’t roblox just ask before using them? it would’ve been way better and it wouldn’t take away so many peoples souls. you may rest in place oof oofy… HOWEVER you can still have the oof sound IF you don’t update it.

That's the problem there is no literal option to not update

To this very day, I still don’t see a sound pack.

TL;DW The oof sound is an asset ripped from a game called "Messiah" without the creator's consent.
