    That almost sounds reasonable but not quite. It usually comes from someone about to excuse their racial bigotry and supposed racial superiority. If that’s not where you were going with that, I apologize. I don’t know of anyone trying to force people together. I’ve only seen that argument from those who think they are too good to be mixed with what they think are lessers. If God makes all kinds of different people to be members of His family that is how we should see each other.

    right, when did we all become so different. it's because people were scattered for so long, that doesn't excuse slavery, but it does make you wonder why it happened in the first place. which leads me to one little criticism with this guy's take, he's not wrong about Evolution, but i did find it interesting how he didn't address the topic of slavery and racism. you might say he gave the reason, ah is Darwin responsible for slavery. his view of Evolution is wrong, but he had nothing to do with why racism is a problem. the race issue has been a thing for over 2000 years, yes i believe we are one race, but people divided people. if everyone believed we are all descendants of Adam, racism might not be a thing, but sin came into the world and cursed everything. well that everything eventually lead to people enslaving other people, and the real reason is, it's because people saw others less than themselves.

  • @GreyWolfLeaderTW
    @GreyWolfLeaderTWАй бұрын

    First rule of any debate, you have to define your terms: Race in a strict sense refers to breeds/strains (a stock of animals or plants within a species having a distinctive appearance/distinguishing traits) of lifeform specimens in a given species. Among human beings, races are groups of human beings who share one or more common ancestors from a particular geographic region of the world. Even from the Christian perspective, human beings may all be the descendants of Adam and Eve, but not everyone is descended from Cain, or Abel, or Shem, or Ham, or Japheth, or other major Biblical figures. The closer you get to the present day in the Biblical timeline; the fewer people share ancestry with the later Biblical figures. If you're not Semitic or Roman, you're not directly related to any of the figures of the New Testament (who were all, with rare exception like Pontius Pilate or Roman Centurions, Semites in general, or Jews in particular). Races obviously exist. Those ancestors of the modern races lived in particular regions of the world and developed particular adaptations (like light skin in the northern hemisphere due to lack of sunlight and dark skin in the equatorial/southern hemisphere due to high exposure to sunlight) to their given climate/region. There are physical differences between human beings of separate races that are physically measurable (shapes and sizes of body parts, for example), and it even has medical implications (northern European males disproportionately have issues with prostate cancer, Sub-Saharan Africans have issues with sickle-cell amenia, and East Asians issues with Jaundice). We do not say breeds of animals like those of _canis familiarus_ do not exist simply because they are of the same species, or because some people get uncomfortable because some other people start ascribing value/superiority/inferiority to certain breeds. This is a Compositional Fallacy/a Fallacy of Part and Whole. The big hullaballoo comes primarily as a result of the self-styled "Progressives" from the late 19th and early 20th century making the misguided and unjustified assumption that difference in race demonstrate superiority and inferiority. They made mistakes in assuming skin color could be a quick shorthand heuristic for intelligence. They were pretty evidently wrong, even from merely a historical perspective. Back in the Middle Ages, an Arab Muslim scribe who explored Eurasia noted that the further north you went, the less educated, less seemingly intelligent, more brutish, and more barbaric the peoples became, culminating in the blond-haired, blue-eyed Norsemen, who were not very smart but were very violent, very destructive, and in that time-period prone to sacrificing fellow human beings of tribes different to theirs to their pagan deities. It tended to be the darker skinned Romans, Semitic peoples, Greeks, Egyptians, and Subcontinent Indians that showed the greatest intelligence level, but this demonstrates obviously that culture and intergenerational development of education and transmission of knowledge has far more to do with IQ and societal achievement than mere genes. Black American economist and social theorist Thomas Sowell points out the reason Sub-Saharan Africans and Aboriginal Australians lag behind other groups has far more to do with the hostile and inhospitable climate and geography of Africa and Australia preventing the development and spread of knowledge and more effective cultural practices across the continent from antiquity to the present day than anything racial about Africans/Australians as peoples.

Because when you do the former, people don't know what to think. They may think you're saying that you're saved because you became a 7th Day Adventist, even though what you really meant {at least it's what I hope you meant} is you became a Christian then ended up joining a 7th Day Adventist church because you feel compelled to take Saturday's off. In other words, the SALVATION part would come before the joining a particular Church denomination part. I mean take the thief on the cross, he was clearly SAVED by JESUS, yet he never observed a sabbath POST salvation. So observing the sabbath does not save you - that's something you do if you want to after being saved.

    Adam and Eve's was pure because they were hand created by God in a world without sin. Their DNA had the whole spectrum of color from pale to dark. In the Bible, Adam and Eve's had three sons mentioned by name, but the Bible states they had more children than those, and since the parents had all the components for every color of hair, eye, and skin color, it is likely this brood had every combination imaginable. Because their DNA was so pure, and God wanted them to multiply and fill the earth, they could marry and have children with each other. After the first generation, the grandchildren would marry. Gradually, each territory became trait dominant, perhaps originally by preference, but also perhaps by need. For instance, in Africa, people with more pigment fare better in the climate than a pastie white person, who may do better in Scandinavia. The same can be said for animals. One theory is that God created wolves. They had DNA that was probably more diverse than that of humans. But by selective breeding, mutations and natural selection, we have so many dog breeds. Bernese Mountain dogs did not originate in Africa. Dogs with long hair and heavy undercoats would not have survived in desert climates. This comment barely scratches the surface. I believe Ken Ham may have done a video on this subject that explains it so well. There are a few videos out there

    It depends on your definition of race. Most people use it today to refer to people with specific physiological attributes similar to talking about tall or short people, blondes and brunettes, etc. A smaller group uses it to refer to everyone descended from a specific individual, such as The Old Testament referring to Israelites, Edomites, Amalekites, etc. This is still used by ethnic Jews to day in regard to Judah, but it fails, because this many generations away over half the people in the world have Judah in their ancestry, so the definition now is more arbitrary, and is used primarily by Germanic and Slavic people who's ancestors who practiced Judaism devoutly or religiously in the 1800s. The physiological defnition is the most consistent, but certain, ethnocentric people don't want someone who looks like them but has a parent who doesn't look like them to be included in their race. This distinction today is especially made toward kids who are half-Asian or half-African by some Asians and Africans, because they are negatively biased toward the culture of the other parent. I don't think it matters if people refer to races, as long as it has no negative connotation. The problem is other people use it negatively, so depending on the situation any mention of it gets treated as negative.

I assume you are young & naive, otherwise if not in that you are a mature woman….well, you have a lot of growing up to do, including how not to be insecure and wanting to be like the “white” folks: to stop comparing yourself to white folks or any other (their hair, bodily features etc), and to accept who and what you are. In essence, what your statement says is white folks features “hair” is perfection that that is to be aspired to, is the mould of how a person should look, yet there is something wrong with black hair - otherwise why state “we look so different especially hair”. My question is, different from who or what? Different!! What a wretched thing to say about black folks hair in general. In fact, in "The Descent of Man and Selection in Relation to Sex" Darwin discusses human races as facts of nature. Some of his points on "negroes" and Amerindians are racist, but probably not as bad as was usual at the time. Let me also add that Darwin was clearly against slavery and his wife and father in law were part of the abolitionist movement. In "The origin of species" we find nothing on human races, by the way. Today's evolutionists agree that there are no biological races, but Darwin worked long ago and he thought differently still.

    In Genesis 11, God confused the languages of men and scattered them abroad upon the face of the earth. People who spoke the same language would naturally group together and multiply in different global regions, to the exclusion of others. The distinctive genetic traits of those regional groups would be passed down to their descendants, identifiable today as unique ethnicities, cultures, and mannerisms. We are all human beings, made in God's image. None of us are better or worse in God's sight, but we are incompatible with each other. God intended it that way so we wouldn't bond together and challenge him. That's why diversity and inclusivity don't work. Humans are better off being race realists and segregating themselves to live in their own regions with their own kindred.

    The problem is that to be a Christian, you are required to believe that God came to earth in human form expressly to volunteer to be slowly tortured to death as a human sacrifice in order to save us all - from HIMSELF. This torturous death satisfied God (Jesus) and made him happy again so that he wouldn’t smite us again, as he did the first time when he drowned everybody in the Flood. Human sacrifice is the WORST superstition we humans have ever invented. In the 300,000 years of human existence, millions of men, women, boys, girls, babies, and animals have been sacrificed either to appease an angry god or to ask for some kind of favor. There never was a god, living or dead, real or imaginary who ever gave a hoot about sacrifice.
