I don't think that the players are bought into McDaniels. They've seen what a real lesser looks like. I may be reading into it too much, but our team doesn't talk about McD's like they did about Gruden and especially Bisaccia. It's very telling. McD's doesn't pass the smell test nor eye test in being a leader of men. But what do I know?

So if they trade or release DC did they trick WR Adams into coming to the Raiders? Will WR Adams want to leave after DC is gone??? So is this why they don’t remove DC now??? So many thoughts to what is going on and why the lack of wins that they were capable of winning?? Easily could have been 7-0 with the talent they have and have proven in the wind from last year. McDaniels is our problem! Period. This last game with the Saints was blatantly obvious that the Raiders players were not playing for McDaniels! Carr was responsible for running the team but both he and the team folded together to say to McDaniels were done with your coaching and especially your play calling!

I hope that Carr plays like his job in on the line. Putting the team on his back, passing, scrambling for first downs and running for yards like a kid playing football in the backyard.

You should never hire a coach with the expectation it’s going to be automatic. That’s why I was nervous they were saying they were Super Bowl ready.

@Boss Eternal but we can prove Mahomes fails with a bad OL, as he did against TampaBay in the Super Bowl. We can prove Allen needs a true WR1, because he was labeled a bust till Diggs arrived in Buffalo. We can prove Rodgers needs a top defense to get to and win a Super Bowl. And Brady played in the worst division in the NFL almost his entire career, or on a stacked team in Tampa. If Carr goes to a real contender he can do what Stafford did on the Rams, easily. For the Raiders it’s at least three years to even think about playoffs, especially if McDaniels stays.

Zeigler got Adams, but no O Linemen...??? What good is the best WR if the O Line doesn't give the QB time to throw him the ball...???

I think JMD has a 3year window to make winning team. Carr isn't going anywhere till JMD finds his project QB. But if Carr keeps playing the way he did Sunday his definitely gone after this year. Then we will see another bridge QB till JMD finds the QB he truly wants.

Carr would go first. TB12 and Rodgers are the last of the great and elite stoic quarterbacks. Rodgers is way more mobile than TB12 but he's not a dual threat. The defenses are evolving to be far more aggressive and as a result, the Raiders is going to need a dual threat quarterback or at the very least a very mobile QB who can move out of the pocket, throw while running like Mahomes, and so many others. Otherwise, he's a sitting duck waiting to be plowed by a linebacker.

Too many coaching changes for Carr to become a winner. With no personnel changes up to the middle of next year and with a continuing dismal record, Davis might as well sell the franchise and lobby for an expansion team, starting over freshly. I guess Bisacchia’s steady but workmanlike personality which I liked did not suit Davis’s Las Vegas’ ambiance. I also liked Gruden’s on-field personality, and it was a shame for the NFL to back stab him for his pre-NFL language while not penalizing his associates.

Carr needs to go 1st. The offense looks just like it did in the early 2000 no new wrinkles just the same dink and dunk run up the middle boring offense. Another last place finish coming up. Coach Rich got screwed he was able to fire up the team. They don't have that fire.

The attitude and body language of the players too many times feels checked out especially on the offense. Coach aside you just don't see that from Carr this year and on the field and he has to be that guy so others follow. His sense of the field is completely out of whack and he's missing wide open shots whether it's his first read or not. I'd hate to see him go out like this but this season and his contract were built on put up or shut up. Just because Mariota is no longer on the sides doesn't make his job any safer.

Let's get a guy from a D1 program instead of Fresno

Carr seems to hit the wall and crash hard at least once a season, and this season is just as bad as any of his bad seasons after 8 full seasons. A new red-flag for me is what Carr mentioned recently, something like.... "I recognized certain things vs Saints as I did in the 2014 Ram's shut-out, but I wont go into details" Well I believe Raider Nation fan base deserves details, so Ive been thinking about it. Going back that far the only connection would be former Raider HC, Dennis Allen and Carr. Did Allen scheme against Carr using the 2014 Ram's approach? Because if that is true, that means Carr really hasnt got any better is he still struggles against certain defensive packages. A certain defense will just shut Carr down and the Raider team dont have a counter attack.

I heard him say that players aren't showing up in practice. I've heard how difficult this offense is to learn, and apparently players aren't comfortable with the nuances of the scheme enough to make it fit the way they do things. I saw Kolton Miller get beat multiple times one on one, causing Carr to miss reads and rush throws. I saw the line get stood up on every run up the middle. But not being able to cross midfield against the Saints? There's no excusing that, even if you're playing your old coach. I heard Renfrow say that he was playing himself out of the league doing things Coach Gruden's way his rookie year. It was when he started tweaking things, doing things his way after week 5 that he started playing good football. I heard Devante Adams say that he had to unlearn everything he has learned about playing football in order to learn and fit this offensive scheme. Devante is the best receiver in football. You don't want that man unlearning anything. You fit the scheme around his talents, Renfrow's talents, Jacobs' talents, and whatever Carr does well. That's how you manage players, and mitigate losses. McDaniels may just be a coordinator, not a good manager of a team, personnel, or game situations. And that's very unfortunate for us fans for the next couple of years. RN4L

I noticed him too, on every highlight play from the opposing offense. Miles away in coverage and horrible angels to the ballcarrier. If he is good in practice they should get rid of everyone and sign some practice squad players…

Who are the QBs he „developed“ you’re talking about? He never developed any body into a quality starter, most of the draft picks New England made over the last years are busts. Most first year coaches don’t take over playoff teams, that’s why they don’t win a lot. They take over roster with next to no talent, this offense is stacked and the defense was better last year. No way a „offense guru“ should struggle this bad with a team this talented. Him not knowing his starting OL weeks into the season is all you need to know. Chemistry is key when it comes to the OL and it’s the first thing you want to have in place. Don’t look at first year coaches, look at the success of former New England assistant coaches. That’s more accurate, but will be a bad awakening. With McDaniels for years to come this team won’t win for years to come. Another decade of losing is all we have to expect from this …

Time for raiders to move on to a new QB. He had so many fantastic quality players surrounding him and not 1 super bowl appearance. All that money he has gotten and barely anything to show for it .

I think Derek Carr is and has been Mark Davis' QB all along. I think he brought in the best offensive coordinator he could think of for his QB... Nothing will deter him from this. The offense put up 10 duds last year. So far this year, there has only been one dud... Mark is most likely thrilled...

I love Carr but professionally he needs to go unless he’s willing to do the intense work of taking his skills up to next level. Currently he has limited skills an it is limiting the team too. Also , McDaniel needs to do a better job at reading the game and adjusting accordingly to what it is needed in order get a win, otherwise we are looking like bait.

Up until the Saints game the Raider's defense was able to get Carr the ball back with 3 minutes left in game and usually only down by one score. To score ZERO against a Saints team who was giving up 29pts per/game is a locker-room problem, we seen the same shit in 2017 where all of a sudden the entire team goes flat.

For one thing we've seen a lot of failures at draft, nearly 20 years of it and several defensive coaches, we had a bad defense when Rio and Norton were here now how the fuck could that be? Even in 2016 Raiders were giving up 500 yards. Honestly, we need to trade Carr after the Super Bowl for another team's first round pick, maybe the Falcons? We save big money, also if we trade Jacobs we can get another first round pick. If we can get three, first round picks due to a losing season, Carr trade, and Jacobs trade, we can draft new mobile QB, new RT and new DT and begin a real rebuild, we would also have about 10 other picks. Then take Carr's money intor Free-Agency we can bring in a few proven veterans for a couple years to teach all the young players. We also have a hand full of players worth keeping. Abram is done, Perryman cant cover, Moerhig looks lazy at times, Maxx is over rated and the list goes on...

When you have nearly $300 million on offense and you cant score against a losing team there is a complete break down and let's forget about saying "it's just one game" because we've seen this before, multiple times with the Raiders.

Josh McDaniels, should go first, Mark Davis should, go next and I don't want to see Magic Johnson, anywhere near the Raiders. I feel less of a fan with the passing years but Carr has at least gotten to the playoffs twice, how many QBs have never made there?

Yes ,but his play calling is costing the team wins- some of the best offensive or defensive coaches cannot make it as a head coach,if Mark Davis gave a coach who was terminated after a season with the broncos a long term contract without an out Clause that stupid - we played 55 points on the broncos when he was there we have not done that since!

Carr is just ok. McDaniels is the WORST. Raiders are going to continue to suck for a while, especially if Davis hangs onto McDaniels.

Exactly. Glad to see some smart fans left. Waller had two TD maybe three that he dropped. The team just isn’t into it this year I guess. Plus raiders had a sickness run through and Adams was probably still not feeling it

TB12 and Sean Payton. The receiving corps is fine. Plus They need to clean up to OL and DL and we'll be a much better team.

I think we should sign Jimmy G as a bridge QB if possible and draft a QB to play under him. He has achieved more the DC and played well under the system. He can help a groom a rookie QB. We also need to spend our resources on our Defense asap.

Every QB we draft will be wasted as long as we have a HC that thinks „shuffling“ your OL 8 weeks into the season is a good idea. The OL is the foundation of every offense and he is disrupting it on purpose. He clearly lost the lockerroom and will bring in more benchplayers from the Patriots. And if you look at the Patriots drafts the last couple years I doubt we will do better than Gruden.

Everyone brings up Carr being there 9-Years and it’s time to go. Are we looking at the same season? Third highest scoring offense and they are 2-5. How is that possible? I won’t speak to Carr’s previous years but how does Davante being able to get his feet in bounds time after time, Renfrow fumbling the ball against Arizona, Waller not catching anything and this defense allowing 25+ points a game? Think about this. If you have the third highest scoring offense in the league then that means almost no team could win with this defense playing for them. Fix the defense. Fix the offensive line. Carr hasn’t lost a game for anyone since the Chargers game. You could put Joe Burrow or Tom Brady in there and the Raiders would lose because the defense is atrocious and so is the play calling. Browns demolished the Bengals yesterday and their QB never gets criticism for being sacked 26 times and throwing picks.

Carr is always the scape goat! We’ve had a disfunctional team since 2016! I get it, he’s had some bad games. Honestly they weren’t quality teams supporting him. Give him some credit, what QB gets us through last year! Bad coaches, diva players and quick to jump the gun fans. Been a fan since the 70’s. B.s too many Carr excuses he's top 6 QBs in turnovers since 2019 and top 4 since 2020 you say he hasn't lost a game he hasn't won us a game the only reason we beat Denver and Houston was because of JJ most of you living of Carr 2016 season since then he's never had a season like that and last year we lucked out to make the playoffs we played a third string QB in Cleveland but he also lost games to Washington football team Taylor Hieneke,Bears Justin Fields and Giants led by Daniel Jones outplayed in all 3 but it's everyone else's fault lol....

With next to no talent at WR1 no QB looks good. It’s not like he had Evans and Godwin and threw 30 INTs like Wilson did. He had nobody to throw to. That we win because of JJ doesn’t matter. It’s not his playbook an „offense guru“ like McDaniels should get players like Adams and Renfrow wide open. An „offense guru“ like McDaniels should know that the OL needs chemistry and time to develop it, but he is „shuffling“ it. Carr isn’t perfect, but there are bigger problems you have to fix before you can even think about a new QB.

They both stay. You can see what the possibility is with this offense. The last gane in NO is an overraction. 10 games left if we can get in the playoffs with 10 wins than we can still lose 2 more games and make it. Also when we hired JMD, I came across this video about how Belichick operates and they said that the first half of the season he and JMD are trying out different plays, different formations, and even different ol line ups to gather data. It's not an overreaction, Raider fan base was duped hard. It's 2017 all over again due to internal differences and certain players not playing to NFL level. If you look at how sharp, how fast and how in shape the Saints looked compared to Raiders. It was like a young hungry lion taking over the pride and the older, crippled lion sent his way to die off.

Raiders fans stop the BS, until the Raiders stop Mark Davis from hiring bad HC's and GM's, the Raiders will remain an average team. How many times do the players need to learn yet another system installed by yet another crappy HC ? How many high draft picks will be thrown away by incompetent GM's who should never have been hired in the first place. Davis needs to walk away from making any football decisions as he has proven for a decade that he doesn't have what it takes to run a sports franchise.

Mcdaniels doesn’t have the players he wants yet adams only came because of Derek carr , but even with weapons now carr still isn’t stepping up come on 0 points ? The raiders got lucky the last 4 games of last year it could’ve went either way every game . I think it’s time to move on from carr we have to ! Maybe a rookie Qb can come in and do better with these weapons and create more , carr looks scared ever since his injury he was never the same at some point we have to stop blaming the coach

He's not only not a good coach the players do not want to play for him. Get it? Bisaccia was not a great coach but the players wanted to play for him because they liked and respected him. Okay My take on the raiders. Carr has not had the chance for success he's set numbers yes but hasn't had a good team since he's been a raider. Different coaches every year learning a different system every season. Carr right now is not the problem he's doing what he's told. Are bigger problems are defense we give up way to many first downs we can't cover receivers at All BIG problem. Everyone wants josh McDaniels fried but it's All DC fault. I've been a raiders fan for ever I don't think this organization can be fixed this has been going on for decades Mark Davis needs to put this team on the market he's clueless.
