It's great to value money, I think everyone does. But anyone that withholds a workers wages, uses altered scales, is not generous, and nickel and dimes everything isn't good. Be wise with money but don't be greedy or scheming.

Real money is portable, keeps it's value, may buy passage and freedom. Try taking your real estate (im mobil) with you, So, it's protection and insurance as well as generational wealth. Real money allows to start anew in a foreign country, invest in a business, education, partake in a opportunity and therefore create wealth. Since it is important and history does repeat itself, I repeat: Real Money: the shiny stuff of freedom you can touch, the stuff that does not decay, the stuff that is anonymous and has no counterparty risk.

Yes, but it's not about giving 10% to some random Jewish organization. You can go to the grocery store and spend half of that on Mr Noodles and give it out to the poor and the value you have provided for God's children is extraordinary greater than if you just give the raw cash to some charity. Most organizations are corrupt these days. They will use your money to pay for the Rabbi's house, his car, his plane tickets, etc. Do not give to a Rabbinical organization.
