I can't believe Tamera paid for that wedding all on her own. *SMH* I all about being a modern, independent woman but two people got married that day, they should have shared the cost. Adam is financially stable so it's not as if he couldn't afford it. I used to watch their reality show and based on what I've seen and what Tamera has revealed in bits and pieces on The Real it seems as though she is way more into Adam than he is into her. That's not to say that he doesn't love her, I'm sure he does but a man should always love a woman more(and to those of you who were getting ready to say two people should love equally, that doesn't exist. Tamera is a very traditional person - it seems - it makes PERFECT sense that she paid for the wedding. Traditionally, as the ladies said, the Bride's family pays. Well, she is the rich one in her family (Obviously her sister isnt going to help pay, that'e weird), of course she paid. I think she enjoys being traditional and it must have felt good for her ON SOOO MANY LEVELS to pay. Not just being independent and "modern" but just being traditional. And she did say that her husband helped a little with the dress. Let her be.

There is always ways to cut costs, I did so much DIY, centerpieces, table numbers, cake. My girls got their dresses from Target. They have bridesmaid dresses online for $68 some more, and some for less, and guys wore a simple single breasted black suit. Matching ties from K&G. Instead of a big catering hall for $26,000 for the cheapest, we rented a hall at a retirement community for $1,250. Bigger space and we decorated it ourselves. Look at God! Amen!

I think one reason why Tamera would pay for it all is so that she has full reign over the design choices and/or can make it as expensive as she wants. It's not reasonable or considerate to want to control all the design and make it super extravagant if you're splitting the cost. And if that's what she wanted without having to deal with compromise and he agrees, then I think it's fine.

I printed my wedding invitations at Walmart 14 bucks and hand written the rsvp cards to save money

I hired my wedding dress, and I felt like a princess❤️

I got a black dress that looked like a tarp from target for $49. It was comfortable, light and fit my 6 months pregnant belly in it. Our wedding ceremony took 3mins at the registry office. There were only the 2 legally required witnesses in attendance. No photos. We had dinner that night at the local steakhouse. It was free because I had a gift voucher from my job. Then we spent the night at the local hotel across the street from the steakhouse and registry office. My husband celebrated with a few beers at the hotel bar and we played pool and danced. No one knew we had gotten married that day. We got married during my lunch break at work lol. Best wedding ever.

BOTH people should contribute for the wedding.. I would throw shade to you should have a wedding you BOTH can afford because it's not fare to burden your mate in that way.

My husband's parents paid for our wedding, mainly the church, reception hall, and decorations. My husband and I paid for our own attire and a few other things. I feel tamera tho, she is extremely in love with Adam and she's very wise with her money so she probably had a lot saved up & she decided to spend it on her wedding. She planned it all the way she wanted... if u watched the episode, Adam didn't really have a say so in anything, he allows her to do whatever because that's just the understanding husband he is. She Even decorated their home in Napa valley...she's very independent and Adam understands so he steps back a lot of the times.

Tamara Wallace or he just prefers having her make all the decisions because he can't be bothered. there are different ways of looking at it.

Now I like tamera but she tlking bout she had the money and she wanted to pay, I'm thinkin girl is tht why your credit card got declined at the grocery store? Like for real and then had the nerve to say Adam paid for some of the dress? Uh HELLO why couldn't he pay for the whole thing since he ain't had to pay for anything at all? And I dnt get y tamar lookin crazy when Jeannie bought her own dress. I thought the bride always does unless someone gets it for her as a gift

Tamera even said she had about 400 people at her wedding and most of them was his friends so why he ain't pay for the wedding oh hell no.

Ffs I had 3 dresses, a ceremony dress and 2 reception outfits. Traditionally the morning ceremony outfit your maternal side of the family pay for it, and my 2 reception outfits were paid for by my in laws. I NEVER will wear those outfits again and that was a good 10k down the drain.

I thought that Tamera said in a different video that everybody chipped in for her wedding? In this video she is saying that she paid for her whole wedding?
