Number 1 argument in elementary school were the boys all debating over whether the King was a superbird or a charger Daytona. I always knew he was a superbird because that’s the car that lured petty back to race with Chrysler in NASCAR. But believe me it would turn into a shouting match of squeaker voices. 😂😂😂

Mater is actually a '55 to '56 Chev' truck. He's the same model that Clint Eastwood drove in Every Which Way But Loose.

Dale Sr as chick hicks would be a massive personality clash. It wouldn't be unfair to say Dale Sr was all about winning, but he was about it for the sake of winning, not for the glory. Very different character motivations. A character like Chick is best voiced by a non-driver because they're supposed to be irredeemable, a moustache-twirling villain.

Man, this cool little film saved me from hours and hours of abject boredom, and I am so thankful!🤣 When my daughter was younger, for some reason, she didn’t trip on Barbie, Disney Princess stuff, or any of the typical little girl stuff, she was addicted to Cars. She must have watched this film EVERY SINGLE DAY for probably 5 to 6 years. She had posters of Flash, Mater, Sally, etc, in her room. At Christmas she’d ask for Cars toys and Cars lego. Whenever I’d buy her clothes, we always went and looked in the boys section to see if they had Cars clothes. I got her the Cars video games for her DS and gamecube. Her birthdays were always Cars themed. She had all the little die cast HotWheels Cars cars (only they weren’t the HotWheels brand) Anyway, you get my point. She LOVED Cars! I’m sure a lot of dads would be jealous, and I’m soooo glad I didn’t have to go through like a decade of pink Disney princess bullshit🤣🙏🏻 Nice video, buddy. Brings back lots of fond memories.

It was only yesterday that I realized “The King” actually has a name, Strip Weathers… this was my childhood favorite/comfort movie and it took me this long to realize!

i think cruz looks more like and Tesla roadster + New mode 3 (it kinda makes sense cause she says that in the race when everyone started there engines she did not sound like them)

I do enjoy then using actual cars brands abit and how they use the other background stuff that u see in real location on the highway

McQueen is not based on any real car, but probably a generation IV stock car mixed with a Chevy Corvette. The gen IV was used in the NASCAR cup series from 1994 to 2007, in the Busch nationwide series until 2010, and by the ARCA Menards series until 2017

I think is was quite clever of the writers to make the villains of Cars 2 unwanted American and Soviet cars banded together as an organisation bent on revenge. You can tell the people behind the Cars series know their cars well.

The producers did try to team up with Chevy to make a design for lightning but Chevy declined the offer but someone mentioned that lightnings radiator springs design is corvette inspired
