THE REAL FAST & FURIOUS SUPRA

Ойын-сауық

The full story of Brian's Supra told by the guy that owned and built it.
In the video, I tell the story of how I built a Supra for my personal pleasure only to have Universal select the car for use in The Fast and The Furious.
Sure, Universal changed a few things (paint, wheels and bodykit), but the car was pretty much as I built it. It was an honor and privilege to get hired by Universal to oversee the builds of all the tuner cars in the first two movies.
For more info and complete specs of the cars, go to fastandfuriousfacts.com

WESMAN381381 to think that random guy with a fast Supra is now responsible for Craig getting his Supra, then the Supra being in the movie, then the car becoming famous along with Paul and eventually marking it up way too much money. Like it’s weird to think how much happened because of this random guy that raced Craig 😂

I know it's not an academy award winner, but I think the ending to The Fast and the Furious is one of the best even in cinema. How he chooses to be good on his word and his good character than that blindly being loyal to his job, and he gives the keys to Dom paying off his debt of a 10-second car. But even though Dom is now in possession of the car, it's really not the car that is paying off his debt, it's the fact he's letting him get away by giving him the car. Great writing. Very satisfying ending, and one of the best in movie history. And I'm a movie buff. Great ending.

Honestly so refreshing to hear someone openly speaking actual facts instead of the hype that most people do when talking about subjects like this! As for myself growing up around cars and being a mechanic and mechanical engineer building drag cars, race boats and full on show cars know what’s involved and especially lending vehicles to production companies or promotional businesses, so understood when Craig was mentioning particular things about replacement parts and general owning a popular known vehicle? However for myself the video was very interesting as too how hard it was for these guys to build and maintain all this vehicles just for the movies and as I’ve already mentioned, which is Craig’s easygoing manner explaining everything about it to us. Congratulations Craig and well done as so good listening to someone down to earth, rather than the hype and rubbish that they go on with and haven’t a clue. Thanks for sharing your experience with us all👍🏼

After seeing this movie when I was a teenager, your input and everyone else's in the movie changed my life forever. I fell in love with imports. I love your Supra and the Charger, but the car that caught my heart first while in the theatre was the RX-7. Then in 2003 the Evo came to the US and it became my favorite import and dream car. Finally my dream came true, and after my deployment I ordered and bought a brand new 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR, in the best Evo color Graphite Gray Pearl. This is the one I’ve been waiting for. Thank you Craig for this! I was 18 when the first film came out in 2001 and was just learning to drive, I went to see this with some friends and I remember being in a trance the rest of the day and I kept wondering “what was that orange car” in the movie. I’ve wanted a Supra since but could only afford an Eclipse at the time. I worked my way up to a 94 FD RX-7 Montego blue and finally 4 years ago I bought my 97 anniversary edition turbo Supra. It has been life changing and my uncle who just retired has been begging me to sell him the Supra so I’m considering it and maybe get a GTR or Lexus LC500 we will see. I just wanted to say keep up these great videos with a plethora of information.

It's always a blast to hear the real story about anything. During the filming of Fast Five I had the opportunity to see the black Dodge Chargers used in real life. To me it was surreal. While having some drinks a local bar, a guy claimed to be part of the production and we asked him lots of questions. We of course asked him about your car and it matches a lot with yours. We were pretty hammered so I never took what he said too seriously. After watching this video, some of the thinks he said match. I guess he really was who he said.
