Im in Pattaya at the moment Trevor is correct some girls have got bigger but to be honest i rather like having the more European figure . If you want the GF experience out here than i hope you've brought plenty of cash i would estimate £200-£300 per day based on 41 baht to 1 pound including the bar-fines etc etc you will burn through your money easily with food and going out . DON'T DO IT . stay single go short time .

Exactly all you will do is throw cash at a girl, I never see any girl overnight, I just pop into massage shop, have my massage and then go about my business, never take a girl back to my hotel that’s my sanctuary for relaxing. So many guys think they have a girlfriend, they like to live believe the fantasy.

Some other tips. YOU have the advantage here, YOU have the leverage. Never forget that you always have to keep women under your thumb at all time, no matter how "sweet" and nice she is to you. Women respect dominance, this does not mean being an "a--hole". Be nice to her, but don't be an ATM. When my girl asked for an allowance after about a week of dating I said no, "I pay for everything when we go out and never ask you for money, so I already pay enough." followed by "There are 100,000 thai girls here I could be with, don't push it or I will replace you." I also said "Your family isn't my problem any more than my family isn't your problem. I am not sending money to your mom, dad, brother, sister, aunt, uncle or kids. YOU work for them, not for me!" This works 99% of the time. If you think I am being a jack ass then YOU will fail here. Be nice, know your place in the pecking order, and women will respect that, they are designed to do so.

Met my wife by being introduced to her by her sister, living two streets away from me in England. She was not involved in the bar scene but was a cleaner in a hotel. Her family have not made much in the way of demands on me. Also, through living with me in England for eight years before we moved to Thailand permanently, she understands better about our money and knows we're not All millionaires. Thank you for the update, great reminder of the reality of a Thai girlfriend experience. You must hear some amazing stories from guys who meet a Thai lady on holiday and say they are "different to the rest" and you don't really understand the amazing friendship/relationship we have. Often they end up sponsoring them thinking it is the real deal. I have a family member who went through exactly that, married his sweetheart in Thailand who he had met in Pattaya (yes we heard the statement "we are in love and she isn't like the rest"), he moved her to Australia where he worked, they had two children but she missed the Thai lifestyle so much she left the kids and moved back to Pattaya. Now divorced. Again thanks for the reminders of what can come with the girlfriend experience. Cheers

Thanks for the video. Have only been to Thailand 7 times, so limited experience with this. But anyway; My best experience was getting to know someone who worked in a bar (behind the counter). We became friends during the 3 weeks I was there and she wasn't too keen on me spending so much money on her. I paid for food etc. and we were both happy. It was a plus that she spoke good English. I have been visiting Thailand for over 20 years I have found out the best way to enjoy company with these lovely ladies is the keep them for the night and take them for lunch or dinner and in the Morning say bye bye baby. This prevents maximum headaches and hassles. If she wants a drink or beer I ask her and get it from 7-11, most of the girls naturally dont really care to drink outside, they want to either get back or relax. Great video

Five Types of Women You'll Find in Thailand (based off my Thai mum and my experience with Thai girls as friends 😂) When Thai women are mentioned, it's fair to say that most people immediately think of two different types; the 'bar girls' and the 'normal girls'. In our experience, there are actually five different types of Thai women that you'll find in the country. If you want to date a woman in Thailand, we think it's important to understand the differences between them. With this in mind, allow us to break them down below! 1. Bar Girls Since bar girls seem to get the most attention, allow us to explain these women first. If you've been on a few nights out in Thailand, we can almost guarantee that you've bumped into a few bar girls. In Pattaya, Bangkok, and other big cities, you're likely to come across bar girls often. Raised in poor families, normally in Isaan (northeast Thailand), they see their work in clubs and bars as a serious job. Whenever they earn money, some go towards their education and lifestyle while the rest tends to go home to their family. Unfortunately, their poor reputation comes from their desire to earn money. Since they earn more on this scene than they ever could in a day job, they're very rarely willing to forgo this lifestyle for a Western man. If you fall for a bar girl, make sure she is genuine with her intent, learn more about her, and assess whether or not she will change her profession for you. Bar girls have broken many a Western heart, so don't give everything away so easily. 2. Traditional Girls On the other hand, people normally think about traditional Thai girls as 'regular' or 'normal'. Many work long hours in their day job, they don't socialize in clubs and bars all too much, and the majority haven't yet dated a foreign guy. Unlike what you may have experienced at home, Thai women don't like casual dating. If you're a few dates in, they will probably see you as their boyfriend already. Traditional Thai women, take marriage and love very seriously; they believe in giving their all to their man. Additionally, they have strong values for: Traditional beliefs Meeting your/her family Children Religion Most Western men, find themselves in conversations about marriage within a year. If you aren't interested and aren't serious, we highly recommend breaking up before breaking her heart later down the line. As you may know, traditional Thai women are shy and conservative in nature. They rarely have tattoos and piercings, they don't wear too much makeup, and only an emergency will see them ask for money. In fact, most traditional Thai women prefer to save money, and this will help you find cheap hotels, food,salons, shopping malls, etc. This all sounds great, but we should inform you of one drawback; their ability with the English language. If you find a girl that doesn't speak much English, you can be certain that she's trying to learn. As long as you're both making an effort to communicate, love will conquer everything. 3. Thai Gold Diggers We mentioned the way that bar girls like to earn money, but this is nothing compared to the gold diggers of Thailand. That's right, some women will go to clubs every night dressed up in expensive clothing with expensive gadgets, handbags, and shoes, and they could even have tattoos. Either way, they look for rich men who will buy them gifts and supplement their expensive lifestyle. While some are happy to stick with one sugar daddy, others will seek multiple sugar daddies, so be careful (we assume you want to avoid this type of woman!). Many Thai gold diggers, they're happy to keep partying until the sun comes up. Most of the time, they don't care if you're talking with other girls because they're doing exactly the same. If you choose a gold digger, they will be demanding, they will ask for gifts, and they will prefer material things over your time. Since they're independent in nature, they will pay for their own drinks on a night out and may actually be against the traditional Western chivalrous approach (only if you take it too far; everybody loves a gentleman with good manners!). Here are some tips for recognizing a gold digger: She's always asking for material items and for youto spend money. She always seems to prefer fancy restaurants and experiences (rather than just a night in together) She's direct in asking for money Of course, we aren't saying that any girl asking for money is a gold digger. But there's a difference between running into money problems (and feeling awkward asking for help) and simply asking for you to fund their life. 4. Liberated Thai Girls For us, a liberated Thai girl is a traditional Thai girl who has been able to break free from shyness. They're accustomed to Western attitudes and men, they like adventure, and they're generally very good fun. Unlike the gold diggers, liberated Thai girls are independent and they won't be looking for a man with money. Instead, they're genuinely interested in finding somebody to love. Good with the English language, these women will have careers and huge aspirations for the future. Before settling down with a family, they will have goals. Thanks to their middle-class families, most have been to a big university and are now. While one is conservative, respectful, and extremely loyal, the other is independent, fun, well-traveled, and/or educated! Take care and God bless.

Or a better option might be to meet a Filipina girl , totally different experience, very genuine girls , very very loyal and they can speak great English. I met mine 8 years ago and she's never asked me for any money to send for her family.( we send a box over every Xmas (£80) and fill it full of hand me down clothes and toiletries. Man, I love this stuff. Highly recommend you listen to all these. I was recently in Pattaya and met a friend at the bar nothing romantically. BUT that still doesn’t save you, she suggested we go to a bar with live music, I went and every time we ordered a drink she would hand something off to the waiter and moments later the waiter would return. I suspected it was a commissions card but didn’t make much of it. It’s awesome to have my suspicious proven right 😂

Some real things to remember here Trev. It brings some valid points home to me. I have been coming to Pattaya a while now and met some new friends in August, it is so easy to get caught in a trap and you need to have your wits about you. My friend is different!! 😂😂😂😂. Keep up the good work mate 👍🏻

It made me smile when you mentioned visiting family, we went to a nice Thai restaurant and my girl said do I have enough money! There were 10 of us! To my suprise the feast cost just over 1000 thb. The 5 days in Korat were great but I must of spent more there than 2 days in Pattaya!

I met my Thai GF, and later wife, in my home country where she was a grad student. We were both students at the time back well before there were mobile phones, the internet, etc. Her family never asked me for money. Probably because they were a lot richer than my family 555! There are a lot of lovely Thai women out there that are not involved in the bar business.

Working girls and non working girls are a different world mostly... can't compare them, no matter what country you are in. Of course if you choose to date a prostitute, you have to accept all the strings and headaches potentially. I have had normal Thai partners and it's nothing like this. I have also had working partners and it was exactly like this if not worse... haha. Lesson for me is... use working girls for what they are supposed to be used for to avoid headaches and all the bullshit. Plus it feels better not having a girl that's been creamed by 1000s of others and is probably mentally messed up from it in many ways. Don't turn a hoe into a housewife because most of the time it fails. Yes there is success stories but it's a BIG coin to flip and you could lose everything if you are a fool. Enjoy!

Met my first Thai girlfriend online, l'm 60+ she was 40+. Her best friend owned an Aussie style bar in Udon Thani, we would go there about once a week. l deliberately tried to choose a quiet night, so we would arrive, spend a bit of money and cheer them all up. The girls were great, friendly and attentive, would buy them all a drink, order food and share with all the girls. Love this channel👍 I had a bandage on my leg one day walking past a traditional massage shop. She asked what had happened to my leg. Obviously a smart quick thinking girl. After a brief chat decided to have a massage. Definitely not a happy ending shop as most are. Arranged a date and after a few days got in her knickers. Respectable lady. Another time I just picked one up in a scoping centre. Another massage lady I had from a knocking shop massage let me in on a secret. They use motorbike taxi drivers to do the tracking. Even pre smart phones they know every move you make. It’s really unbelievable they know EVERYTHING.

In fact, it was just a simple manipulation: she wanted to insure that you spend your time and money on her, not on a dozen of different women 😉 Just think, how they could possibly track your actions when there are hundreds of motorbike taxi drivers in Pattaya? Make all of them report on the daily basis about each and every farang they saw during the day? And remember which woman is tracking which farang? Sounds like a hell of a work for me 🥵

More Great advice from the master!! I long suspected they have a secret camera recognition system in place on some special app as well as the network! If she's questioning what you are, or not, paying her, there is no question you should leave. Simply go a few kilometers away from the tourist areas and you will find ladies who will never ask you for money; they're down-to-earth and normal.

Not a bad job...borderline brilliant. More interesting than most, quite accurate and detailed. Chocolate Man in Thailand (an example of what not to do unless you have too much money) is off the rails but he has great eye candy...plenty of subscribers so I guess he can afford it. I plan on going to the local University and teach a little English to a few select students and teachers.

The funniest videos are the ones where the you tubers are all traveling together and making the same videos. Real original. As I was always told, ‘you can make a whore out of a wife, but you can not make a wife out of a white’ . It is great advice.

‘My friend ‘ I’m meeting next week after chatting for 10 months , I met on Thai friendly. Not a bat girl , works in office , lives with sister .. non drinker , no tattoos lol 😆 .. We shall see how it pans out .. wish me luck 😅..

This was really interesting Trev. I met my girlfriend on Thai Cupid, almost two years ago. I've been to see ger 3 times in Thailand for month each time. I avoided responses to younger women as I was initially looking fir someone just to show me around. Never thought it would end up ad a relation. She has her own business, bottles water with a small factory near her home. We've had some great times travelling together and I've met most of her family. Perhaps i was just lucky but I was looking for companionship more than anything and I think I've found it. Back for another month in February before I make the move permanently.

Howard, It is unfortunate that all Thai girls get painted with the same bad brush, it’s just ignorant. Two weeks into my 3-day rule I got luckily hooked with a stunning Showgirl who besides being a bundle of joy spent the evening having genuine conversations laughs and ended up well and truly drunk, if it had ended there that would have been pleasure enough. In the time I spent with her she brought everything to the table, it was mostly me that was holding back in forming any relationship and I was probably boring as someone wrongly said Thais were. She wasn’t fazed when I went out with the guys and gleefully joined us on occasions even thou she knew no one else in the group. One night's pub crawl with the guys she said she was going shopping, and I presumed to see her mates, I returned after two in the morning where she got out of bed to cook a big sea-bass dinner with full Thai trimmings that she had bought for our dinner, no candles but full-on romantic. When we went shopping she would insist on paying for her own things and always ensured I wasn’t ripped off by any retailer. She was insatiable with sex to the point I had to lock the door to have some privacy using the bathroom, a time she lay on the sofa her legs across mine whilst I was engrossed with the soccer on TV, playing with herself to get my attention, I only noticed with a pause in the soccer and a cushion thrown by her. A boat trip that was organized to promote new girls at one of the bars, she joined us with a friend and wasn’t fussed when I spent most of my time with the bar staff only to lovingly hold me and join me in their conversation whenever I returned. There were many moments the same where her attentiveness and loving were unswerving and I never experienced any of the ‘Thai’ sulks or freezing out, she was the dutiful ‘wife’ and beautiful mistress you wish to meet. Are we still together; no, it was me that coldly ended the relationship before I fell in love. It may have lasted or it may have ended like Trevs but that in itself would still have been good. Have we met since, yes but that’s another shorter story.

A healthy way of seeing thai life as a foreigner. Everything you buy: house, car, motorbike etc is gifted to Thailand until the exception happens. The key word is renting and don´t buy anything you can not afford to give away.

The vast majority of bar ladies have lots of boyfriends. It only gets complicated for them when two turn up at the same time. If they go with you instead of the other bloke it's only because you are giving them more money. It's only business to them, nothing to do with anything else.

I shared the story a long time ago about a girl I met in a bar who was very kind to me as I was getting further involved with her she stopped me in my tracks and showed me four sponsors that she had. She told me what each one sent her and that she was going to marry the fourth guy. We have stayed friends over the last 10 years and she did exactly what she told me and is now living in Germany and has been for the last 5 years married with one child.

The same mate married a Thai about 6 years ago and she moved to England. As soon as she got her British nationality she blew him out and took half his money, he can't even afford a holiday now.

Learned it from my friends in Singapore: “Fire & Forget”.. although I am a very hard learner! it cost me almost an average local salary with subsequently one Romanian, and 4 Viet girls. All beauties and sweet.. no regrets, don’t focus on the money you could have saved, many good moments.

I think in the immediate term, more costly, at least for people from the UK, is the falling value of the £. A year ago the exchange rate was around 46.1 and now it is around 41.5. that means that an ex-pat on a pension of around £2k a month, is now getting around 9000 Baht less each month than this time last year. A few belts might have to be tightened for a while.

I was lucky coz my 1st thai gf was a hairdresser who i met thru a mate of mine, and my thai wife was a tour operator so i didnt have to mess about with bar fines etc, i compensated them for loss of earnings in the early days coz like u say if they weren't wiv u they'd be earning so its only right and fair. Again i was fortunate as neither treated me like a mobile ATM, and i had no costly suprises waiting for me😎

As a tourist I had very pleasant experiences. Nothing creepy ! I got close to 1 bar girl and 1 Freelancer. #1 Bar-girl from Isaan, she announced to leave the Bar couple of days while I left but never asked for money, like EVER ! I was waiting for Sick buffalo, never happened! #2 Freelancer, stayed with me 3 days LT, asked for money 1st date then she said she had feelings for me and SURPRISINGLY stopped asking LT payment !!! Of course I payed meals and drinks but no extras. Now both of them keep contact long-distance but never ask for money. I guess I was lucky.
