Great video Trev, very helpful. I will definitely be in touch with Martin, closer to when my medical discharge goes through.
How many bar to the pound
4 bars and lots of headaches lol
Blows my mind all these fat sexpats infested with gout, but they still drink everyday and eat shyte! Unbelievable!
Very interesting, thanks Trev. It would be interesting to see what youd get on the luxury end of things, 5-10 million baht if possible...
Thanks for the idea!
Has anyone took over the retox bar soi 13...was gutted when i heard it closed down due to covid.
Long gone
Hey trev .off topic . The best person to ask is you.. the girls on soi 6 at the front promoting.like the ones you see along the street.. can you bar fine them..???
Great vid Trev. This is exactly what l asked for since your reality vid. Thank you and Martin. Keep up the good work
Glad you enjoyed it
TBH 49% is still NOT ownership IMHO!! So how does that work out? In some EU countries (like Hungary where foreigners are not allowed to own property either) you ARE allowed to OWN 100% of a LTD (or somthing alike!) that has 100% ownership of a propery. Making you 100% owner, but with a U turn (and extra €€'s for fees and ltd costs). How does that work out in Thailand? BTW great VIDEO !!! BTW2: what I miss wrt some infos is the following: 1) what are Martin's (or company he works for) fees and who pays for that? 2) is there something that resembles a HOA (and I mean EU style not US style! more like Canadian STRATA)? 3) what exactly are ALL recurring and/or one time fees exactly? I see Martin does know a LOT (and that's great!), but I'd like to know for sure that everything's covered (incl. silly tax things that might occur!).
49% of the condos, so you own it out right
You don’t own 49% of the condo 😂 you own 100% but in any condo block at least 51% of the individual units must be Thai-owned.
1.5m baht is a good deal. Wouldnt even get you a garage in london.
I totally agree
@@Buzzinpattaya if you spend few months there well worth it to have your own place.
only 500 SUBS to go young fella .. I heard you will be putting on free piss and body slides for all the punters at a gogo club 55555555

Fair one mate
Problem is retirement visa
See Mark at One Stop Visa Services in Soi 6
@@Buzzinpattaya thank you I will do currently in the Philippines I’ll honestly hop over have a great night
There must be a massive over supply? Thai govt announces possible larger percentage ownership, even admits over supply. Now this info on " cheap condos" Pattaya is tremendously over supplied- who controls the maintenance fees and charges? Who monitors the funds and how they are spent and if invoice costs are fair charges? I know guys who bought similar a decade ago- pretty sure they paid 2.5 even back then? Their units must look old by now I guess. I dont know why someone wants to buy, with massive supply, one can hold onto their cash, take bank deposit rates of 5% and not have any of the headaches. Also this method gives the punter the option of living in old or new premises. Is there 35% tax on the money being bought in?
Always worth a look
Nice place but there are too many condos in Pattaya so the rule of supply & demand ensures they are not worth much.
Okay
I suffered from depression basically all my life. Tried many things, medication, Electric chock treatment, therapy, and TMS (temporal magnet stimulation) and TMS is the one thing that have had the best effect. Besides that, i've tried and can recomend excercise & change the diet. When i went on a strict meat & vegetables diet i've never felt so good. Didnt wanna drink and felt overall happier. Thats what I can share with you if you wanna try some of it.
Please make sure to mention if washing machine hook-up is available if there isn't a washing machine!
I did show the machines and also the laundry mart
Trev & Martin great video. Those apartments were definitely valve for money.
Thanks for that mate cheers
Does Thailand have anything like a reserve fund for condo repairs and assessments or do you just abandon the poorly constructed dumps? Sales pitches here for the stupid! Never never buy in a place like Thailand! If you want to throw away your money go to the track or get a Thai wife, uhh whore in the world’s apparently largest whorehouse!
Like Jackson Browne sung, ''No matter how far I run, I can never seem to get away from me''
I get ya mate
I'd be keen to know if they have many condo's for us cripples (at times in wheelchairs)
Most have lifts so access should be okay
You speak perfectly. No worries.
Thank you
cheapest I heard of well apartment to buy £12,800 or rent £108 per Month crazy
Cheers
The shop behind the Shell station is still open but has reduced stock.
Cheers mate
I do not see it as paradise, I think I would quickly get bored with the repetition of it all, sorry but its the last place I would want to live. Having said that I hope you pull through the depression you feel, hopefully something new will come along.
It does get boring yes mate
One can be depressed and no reason for it. Brains do it. I have problems with depression and panic disorder(diagnosed). And those come and go. When you know those it is "easier" come from bottom to up again. B12 vitamin, C and D very helpful. Walking and observing what amazing place Earth is and not criticize anything. Let it be like Beatles song. Let all flow through you, relax❤🙏.
I get ya mate
You must be mad. Your health is suffering. Its not worth it. Get rid.
Hi Trev. Does it work out cheaper if I am able to buy a condo under Thai ownership? ( I am able to do this). Cheers
No mate it means a Thai can purchase land
Great prices Trev I love pratamnak area best where do you like best living
Me personally the Eastside, it's more real and few tourists
@@BuzzinpattayaIs East Pattaya really practical if you don’t have transport
You should inform us what the monthly sevice charge is for each condo. People forget that and it is usually 1200 baht plus per month.
I will ask next time thank you for the suggestion
1st one quiet until they start building across the road. 2nd one no one overlooking you. 90 balconies overlooking you. 3rd one how much would that cost in your country. Probably a lot more, but the people in my country earn a liverble wage, not 400 baht a day.
Wow what a positive outlook lol 😂😂
Glad you are enjoying/enjoyed your time in Thailand.
I still wish I could make it there and let you show me the town in a big way . Love your channel brother . 🥂🙏
Hope you get out mate
TB1.95M equals £41,801 currently. Which isn't a great deal of money for one bed flat (condominium) in the tropics. However long term rentals with pool, gym and room cleaning are found for between B6000-10,000 a month, which is about £112- £214. Now my point being is for me being mid 50's and drinking and smoking for most of my adult life, also taking into account the three-score-years and 10 life expectancy, then I believe rentals are the way to go. Also if you remain a citizen of your Western origins, then think of the additional complications involved in sorting your estate upon your death that will occur. If you're under 40ish I'd probably buy outright, considerably over, then rent. Not being a professional/qualified financial advisor my advice is free😆
I get ya mate, maybe something to pass on if you have family
@@Buzzinpattaya No Trev, you clearly don't get me. I did explain about the complications of the estate being passed over to family back in your Western origins. If you have Thai children, then yes it's far easier to bequeath property to them than overseas. But I clearly didn't mention that 😆
Chill out mate you don’t have to buy the condo
Good points.
take it from me STOP SMOKING , VAPING N. O. W I NOW HAVE ... COPD ... AND 3 SCORE AND 10 WILL NOT WORK WITH THIS , I'M 71 AND HAVE ABOUT 5 YRS LEFT if I'm lucky !!!
I might buy a place like this for a rental property but it's too small for me to live in.
Rental project works
Nice video, 👏🏻🇺🇸
Thank you
@@Buzzinpattaya no problem, I subscribed maybe a year ago+ You got good info, and videos 👍
Just a query, here in Aus if I make an offer on a property I include a commonly used phrase: 'subject to building and pest inspection'. I would then arrange a professional inspection for structural integrity, pest infestation, etc. How would I go about doing this in Thailand? Cheers
I get ya mate
We have a similar clause in the UK but the term 'pest inspection' refers to neighbours who might cause a problem in the future.
If the Australian dollar rate was as high as the US or the pound, I might consider buying a condo whether it be Thailand or Philippines
Fingers crossed it works itself out soon mate
As soon as I saw those Union Jack cushions, I knew you’d bring them up, Trev! 😅 .. I really enjoyed seeing those apartments; the Price Point, The views it was all quite interesting.
Couldn't resist hahaha
3:55 Eww the stain on the Bed Board 🤑
Hahahaha
✌
Cheers mate
The problem are the fruits sellers along the street.
okay
Pool in that last place was great for the value of the condo
absolutely
Hey Trev, I have some curious questions for you.....or for anyone else with experience in the beer bars. How often do girls get bar-fined? I mean, does it basically happen to every girl, every night?? Or, is it one of those things that rarely happens and most girls just stay until the bar closes or their shift ends and then they try to find some luck on a dating app or something? Does the "hotness" of the girl make a difference? In some of these beer bar videos I see some girls who are easily 8's or 9's....but I also see a lot of 5's and 4's (if you know what I mean).....is it more difficult for the less attractive girls to get bar fined?? .....or, do they all eventually go home with someone? And lastly, are the girls happy to get bar-fined? In other words, is this something they want to happen? It seems to me (unless the guy is 300 pounds and disgusting) that going home with a guy for the night would be a great deal.....getting to leave work early, no more walking around in platform heels, AC hotel room, nice bed, and likely a nice meal or two. Surely, being bar-fined is much more lucrative than squeezing out a small commission on lady drinks all night. Thank you for any answers you can give.
It's such an open ended question mate with so many variables
Buying at 2m baht compares to 133 months (11 years) renting at say 15k. Great value properties, but Thais don't like second hand, so don't expect the value to increase over time.
I get ya mate and yeah good value
whatvoceam
ok
That pool area in the 3rd condo is a stunner!
mate I was shocked myself, was really nice
Great rideabout Trev

Is there body corporate structure for condominiums?
Need to ask Martin as not sure mate sorry
