Way back when, he and Taj were picking up litter for the Backyard crew. I can't imagine any other sports MVP grabbing a black bag to help after the event. The man is a legend.

@@reaper6088 I went to a week long bike camp with him as the instructor and Bill Nitchke back in the day...it was awesome.

That was insane. Williams and Wade are on a level so far beyond the rest of the competition that it's just nuts. The entire event came down to "how smooth can we land". Such a small technical issue, but that's what a good contest should be.

You can really see R Willy's racing and park roots come out at the end when he immediately rushes out to help after that massive crash. Serious props to him for keeping level headed enough to stay back and let the medics do their thing.

First time in a long time ive had goosebumps watching x games. Awesome friendship and damn they threw some hammers. Showing the world how bmx is.

Just skip to 6:30- dude killed this ramp, I mean a double two of the START! just shut it down. I saw this guy at the Texas State Fair after we saw him in atxbmxgames. #instant fans

You can just see how much Ryan Williams cares more about his people than the gold medal! Great human!

Morgan and Ryan had my heart rate through the roof. Ryan.... Mind blown! Morgan.... love your work!

Dude I remember him coming to my middle school around 2001 to do an anti-drug bmx demo in the gym. Absolutely crazy to see him still going at it.

Scotty Cramer is the man!! So glad he’s doing better!

These riders put on a great show. The runs were insane, then they started busting out the roll-in tricks, the ladder jump, and the doubles run. Great year for X-Games BMX.

Last time i watched this is when xgames just got started. These sports have come such a long way. Tyler tx? Wooah love from mansfield tx brotha.

I love that Wade wanted to do something crazy to try and take first and Williams, who was in first, was like "Hell, yeah I'm gonna help you pull this off! It sounds sick." lol

This video brought out so many emotions and reactions in me that I didn't even know existed.

First time watching this and its already my favorite thing to watch it should be way bigger then it is and foster and wade are my favorite already 😂

It is sad to see so few people there in such fascinating event. Awesome stuff wish i was there to see those tricks live,

I love that Ryan William's did his second run for the Miracle Man Dave Mirra. Something tell's me that help Ryan nail that run.

I bet Vince Byron brought that ladder with him from home. I love how he rides the hi his shirt representing Australia like only true Aussies know how.

Just awesome. Morgan's performance blew my mind. Then R-Willy killed it. These guys (tbh not all of the whippers out there, sorry!) are true innovators and that's what this sport is all about imho. It’s like morgan saw Ryan’s #1 run and thought “well, he’s won so imma just have some fun” then tried to jump a ladder, then do a doubles run with mykel

Focus is strong in this sport. Street, vert, skating is so intense. I love it

Those guys are more than amazing, i have no words ! And Ryan williams is an extra-terrestrial !

I remember playing "Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX" 17 years ago and used to think "these tricks are impossible, nobody can do a quad tailwhip in real life". I ate my own words. Even more, I can't believe these guys are making tricks that not even video games had names for back in the day. It's evolution baby, you gotta love this sport!

Tabitha Johnson surprisingly, not that bad. Slightly fractured vertebrae, bruised lung and liver, and I think a broken wrist. You can find the video, it was like 10 years ago. He fell to the flat bottom, and the impact was so hard his shoes flew off.

Just here waiting for R Willy to bring out his 1080 Front flip over the gap and potential double flair on the quarter. He has those tricks in his back pocket which is crazy considering he can win with tricks that he has become so consistent and comfortable with. Dude hardly has to get out of his comfort zone at this point to win until someone challenges him (except that flip drop in... that was nuts)
