I think this is one of the most refined pop/rock songs I've ever heard. The Rasmus are so underrated.

It's funny because music critics in Finland bashed this song over 20 years ago. But Finnish people loved it and this is still a common radio song here. And seems people from other countries love it also. :) This era was fantastic in Finnish music. The Rasmus, HIM, Nightwish. And ofc many metal/heave bands on top of it. Like Children of Bodom, Apocalyptica etc. Check them out if you haven't heard some of them. :) Greetings!

For me Rasmus is the greatest band every lived on planet n ever will be

I remember sitting in my room back in early 2000s, listening to this song and understanding that just a couple of months later I'll be flying away, leaving my friends and family and changing my life forever... You guys helped me to cope with the hard feelings, with the sadness of saying goodbye and the fear of the unknown. Now, when it's time to change my life again, here I am, listening to your songs again. :)

I remember. My mom had bought me the single, and I still have the cover pictucred in my head. I thought back then that this was better song than Falling and I haven't changed my opinion to this day.

I miss the old sound The Rasmus had even though I like the new songs as well but there's something about these olds songs that the new songs don't have. :/

These old songs sound more natural. When they became darker it seemed like a lot of finnish rock bands wanted to be like HIM because they were successful.

Hoy desperté recordando esta canción y me gustaría compartir una anécdota. Escucho Chill y siento que me trasporto en el tiempo, me hace reír y llorar a la vez, tantos sentimientos de felicidad y nostalgia aparecen. En 2002 The Rasmus salvó mi vida, me ayudaron a salir de la depresión y a encontrar mi rumbo. En 2012 tuve la oportunidad de conocer su hermoso país. Caminando por Katajanokka, en Helsinki, me encontré con Lauri Ylönen (quien fue mi gran amor platónico de adolescencia), pude darle un abrazo y agradecerle personalmente todo lo que me brindaron a través de sus canciones aquellos años tan complicados de mi juventud. Aquel día mi ser se sintió completo. Quise regresar a Finlandia y establecerme allá pero la pandemia dejó en pausa aquellos planes. Espero que todo pase y pueda volver el año próximo.

Even if we are now on 2024, this song will be always going to be the best way to chill up. Into album is really one of those "obscure gems" that needs to be more known.

I miss the old The Rasmus but I have to accept that they still continue making good music but in a very different way and Lauri is still so fucking beautiful.

esta canción es mi lugar seguro. la descubri hace poco, haciendo un trabajo de introspección en cuarentena y escuchando grupos de la adolescencia más a fondo. me volví a enamorar de the rasmus de una manera descomunal, sincera y profunda. pero algo tiene esta canción que se siente como un abrazo, como un mimo. se que la letra es triste pero me transmite sentimientos de pura felicidad y me hace sonreír, me provoca escalofríos y me hace recordar recuerdos que no viví. también me transporta al principio de los 2000 cuando todo era azul oscuro y estaba iluminado con luces amarillas. es bestial, una canción única que en mis casi 22 años de vida me pegó como ninguna otra. estoy ansiosa por tatuarme "chill" en mi piel cuando termine la cuarentena para tenerla por siempre conmigo. gracias the rasmus!!!
