I thought the same thing. And he was the only member of the escort to show any resistance to the attack. And showing some ability that does not mean being a mobile target for attackers. He had his right arm and his bottom severed. He could give up without anyone being able to reproach him. And what does he do? Keeps fighting. His attitude was the same as that of Monty Pyton's black knight. "It's just a flesh wound."

@@spartana1116 To be fair, they were pitted up against experienced pilots with better mobile suits like the Unicorn (Djeh is literally almost a Gundam). If they were fighting against normal grunt suits, I think they would be more effective at taking down enemy MS units.

@@DealsFS With how the Ankhsa was built, it seems more like a transformable Jegan than anything special. So getting taken out by a Dijeh isn’t that surprising, 8 years old or not. Although it is bs that the Ankhsa was taken out in melee by a mobile suit that still need. Subflight Unit to move under gravity. What’s actually disgraceful is the Gustav Karl, the thing is supposed to be the latest Federation MS. Yet it goes down just as quickly as a Jegan

Related in terms of “customized old defeats new” A trio of customized GM IIIs killed over a dozen brand new mobile suits + a Gundam that was 40 years newer and advanced, all without taking casualties.

It gets abused by the writing, but damn, what a cool-looking suit. I love the disc mode.

ぶっちゃけ言って、ガルダのアンクシャのパイロット達は実戦経験が殆ど無いから、軌道が教科書通り だから、その軌道を読まれて先回りで弾幕を張られてる

Its super durable abd all the pilots are highly committed. Likely trained by OYW fighter pilots who made sure the federation had air superiority throughout the war

いやまあ、ガルダは飛行要塞のような立ち位置なので、かなり頑丈 それに、ＺとＺＺの時に半分にされたから、簡単に失わないようにと装甲が強化されたらしい それに、アンクシャは量産前提の機体だし、可変機は少しでもコストを下げるために装甲が薄くなるようで まあ、機動性が売りなのに装甲が原因で遅くなったら意味ないですし

普通どの機体もマニピュレータは脆いんですよだからVSシリーズでGガン勢の戦い方を見た宇宙世紀組は揃ってマニピュレータで殴るのかってびっくりしてるんですよ

0:40　のアンクシャめっちゃ格好良くて鳥肌立ちまくりだったのにその後の「ブッピガァァン！！」でoh……ってなったわw

やっぱりモビルスーツの戦闘シーンは、細かい動きをコマ送りで観られるし、通信速度は関係ないし、円盤を買うのが最善だと思った

@@begems-1026 いくらなんでもガルダ級の、しかも可変機を任されるほどのパイロット達が練度不足ということはないでしょう。只ガルダ自身、宇宙軍やロンドベルと違って掃討作戦というよりは、対空監視や観測が主任務な訳ですし、実戦経験の差なのでしょうね。

@@user-vj9nm1zv9l たしかにそう言う考えもあります。 しかし地球連邦軍はほとんどのベテランがロンドベルなどに所属→つまり宇宙に居ます 理由は明快　地球には敵がほとんどいないからです。結果として、訓練などは最小限になり、ほぼ新兵同然の練度のパイロット達が量産されています。このことはトリントン基地が旧型機相手にフルボッコにされたことが証明しています。 次に可変機を任されている。というのもありますが、実はこれは第2次ネオジオン抗争くらいまでしか通用しない理論です。この時代はリゼルなどのように、リミッターの設定や可変機構の簡略化、さらに可変機の訓練プログラムの確立などにより、可変機は以前とは比べ物にならないほど扱いやすくなりました。これはまだ新兵であるリディが最初から可変機であるリゼルに搭乗していた点が証明しています。 とまあこんな感じでして… 長文失礼しました

@@user-fg1yn5hk1d 念のためですが、エリート=腕のいいパイロット　ではありませんよ。この時代のエリートなんて良いとこ生まれのぼんぼんばっかです 例としてはゼネラル・レビルですね。あそこはエリート部隊と聞こえは良いですが、実際はそういうボンボンがほとんどなんです。なのでフロンタルが不殺舐めプしたのは(お偉いさん怒らせて全力で潰しに来られると面倒なので)そういう理由もあったりするのです。

0:27 The reason the Garencieres didn't get instantly shot down despite being a modified civilian freighter is because, other than their use of homemade MS manned turrets, they had countermeasures such as chaff and flares to prevent any lethal blows from surface to air or heat seeking missiles. To quote/paraphrase FDR: 0:33 "speak softly and carry chaff & a big gun; you will go far."

so many thing wrong with how they portrait robot and fighting of machine in unicorn. However, the portrait in NT is abit more believable, at least in these clips.

アンクシャ、好きな機体なんですけどねぇ。確かに連邦軍が弱すぎるのは問題大かな。ガンダムタイプやロンドベル以外だとバイアラン・カスタムくらいじゃない？強かったの。

一応武装は別売りされてるから、再現は可能です 実際、それとフルスクラッチで再現したのが、雑誌に写されてました

The "gelgoogs" are called Dijehs, and those "gms" you saw are jegans (which are pretty much successors of the previous gm suits). the anksha is heavily based on the asshimar while still retaining components from the jegan.
