It's weird where rotaries pop up, even in stock form! I've seen some Volvo 140 and 240 series with 13B builds, with such a roomy engine bay you almost have to climb into the bay to reach the engine. :P As for stock ones, I was surprised to find out Citroen did a rotary model, the Citroen GS Birotor, then they regretted it and recalled them to get rid of them, so they're very rare, as only a few people didn't wanna give it back. Then there's the Russian ones, I'm not great with their model names and such, as I feel each one has like 5 different brands and models, but there were rotary powered police cars made by what we mostly know as Lada, there was a rotary version of the shape we know as the Lada 1500, some other numbers as well as I think it was engine size, but basically Lada's copy of the Fiat 131, so a RWD car with a rotary, then later models is the FWD Lada Samara, also with a rotary. I have no idea where those engines came from, if they were developed by Lada, or if they copied/used a Mazda one, I just for some reason remember that the engine made about 136hp, likely NA, but yeah... technically you can find Lada rotary engines out there. :P (There is also a Suzuki one, but that was in a motorcycle, the Suzuki RE5 from around the mid 70s.) Sorry about that ADHD tangent, sometimes my brain just needs to dump random info, even if it's not fully on the topic. I normally delete them after typing them out as my brain is happy to have written it even if I don't post it, but... I felt this at least touched on the topic enough to let it slide. :P Edit: I got curious about if other motorcycles used a rotary, turns out Norton made racing motorcycles with rotaries, which is kinda cool! But in the process I found out what the Citroen GS rotary was called, Citroen called it Comotor, and it was a twin rotor, I found out as some random dutch unknown motorcycle brand used the Citroen GS rotary in a bike, only 38 produced though, called Van Veen OCR 1000.

I had a bf 323 wagon with the 1.6 turbo no traction until 3rd gear had it say 10. 13 years ago was a beast till it got a few extra neutral gears and a peep hole in the side of the engine block. 😢still miss the headache 😂

Rotory got a bad rep for reliability bc ppl who know sh about rotory in general go and buy rotory cars not knowing how to properly maintain this high reving engine and abuse them on top of that blowing them off. Right now here there re many Rx8 for sale with over 200k khm on them and they sell for cheap bc ppl dont want to pay to change seals or rebuild them etc ... i Love the Rx8 so much but the renesis engine aint the best for boosting , but i do like the improvments Mazda did on the 13b renesis, hopfully RX8 will remain cheap for years to come and ppl can keep enjoying them.. These Rx8 in the video man looking amazing , love your videos man you always have the best Cars in your video, keep up this amazing job . edit: i went to check now there re 5 Rx8 for sale with over 200k to 260k Khm . and one with 360k (all working cars)

i never understood how Mazda fuckedup so hard on the rx8 the rx7 is a much better engine bay then the rx2 has np with a 302-351 ? i had mine RX2 extend port bigger turbo and 48MM ID-IDO WEBER if i remember correctly long time ago MAN im talking 1986-8 nothing on the streets come close GTHO 351i would eat lol

it wasnt they fucked up they were doing there best to been able to release another 100% rotary powered car with all the restrictions that started taking place, even back then but as time went on it all became harder hence we will never ever see another true 100% rota come from the mazda stables ever due to cali emissions laws and rules that they need to pass to be able to sell any car on a global scale, one thing we can thank them for the rx8 engine is thou that now we can build a multi exhaust ported engine which then only equalls bigger hp, but it was more off the things around the reni that let it down, once you solve those issues they are algood n/a motors we hate or love the but we need to now respect the fact they are the final and last true rx car to be built
