before the beef, the most Kendrick I listened to was Alright and the For Free interlude, then my boyfriend had me listen to GKMC about a week before Euphoria dropped. Now, Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers has been in the rotation, and Mortal Man on TPAB made me cry. i feel dumb for sleeping on him so long. a true artist.

I felt that even before Kendrick said it I felt the Drake wanted Kendrick on his side. Drake was about to pass Michael Jackson and he swallowed his pride and said let me get both of them on my side. He was trying to be the smartest one in the room but ended up kdot understood the mission on what Drake was trying to do

I disagree. I think Drake has always tried to fake connect. He wanted to “son” Cole and Kendrick. “Did Cole foul” by using him to attack Kendrick.

Nope, he wanted to sneak diss Kendrick but get Cole to do the heavy lifting if it came to a battle. He failed there. But then Drake was always going to lose.

Fuck it we all nerds, In Not Like Us, Kenny said "Did Cole foul, IDK why you still pretending". And the fact we know Kenny was supposed to be on FPS. Do you think Drake lied to Cole about the reason why he wasnt on the song and thats how he did Cole foul?? I been trying to figure out what he meant by that since the song came out. Cuz whatever it is, it doesn't seem like Cole is aware of it

  • @Theodore_ML

Drake lied to Cole by not telling him that Kendrick will not be on the song so that he can change his verse and not mention Kendrick at all. Drale knew that Kendrick would not agree to it after everything that happened between Drake and Kendrick. Cole was innocently spitting on FIRST PERSON SHOOTER with the idea of having Kendrick on it. Cole got dissed by Kendrick too about his verse, mentioning Kendrick Lamar. When Cole responded to Kendrick and later retracted, Drake threw jabs at Cole on Push ups, Taylor Made and Family Matters.

Nahhhh....y'all were wrong not to recognize Kendrick's gifts off the rip. And it's ok. But you really should get that West Coast hate out of your hearts. ❤😏 And if you mention Game, you should also mention Nipsey. Kendrick was officially crowned the king years ago, but when you ask who's been holding it down besides Game, the answer is a lot of artists. Music on the West Coast is hella regional from L.A. to the Bay and everywhere in between which is why artists like Dom Kennedy, Glasses Malone, YG, Jay Rock Mozzy, and Larry June for example, bump here even though you're not checking for it.

The recency bias is insane with this battle. Kdot won hands down, but we have to stop like Drake didnt have atleast 10 summers rocking, and was putting us on to new waves. literally has a song for every mood or occasion. Being a hip hop head I would turn on Section 80 and Overly dedicated at a party, people would say he can rap but turn that So Far gone on. I just hate that with one of the top 3 catalogs of all time, been in the game since 09, with songs like Complexions, How much does a dollar cost, Bih dont kill my vibe, All of the Hearts, Duckworth, I could go on, but Not Like Us is the one that makes him a household name, and will be considered his biggest song.
