    Thank you Andy Sinton for giving credit where due to the great Gordon Jago who signed Stan (and many other greats like Dave Thomas) for us in the first place,and who largely created the team and the entertaining style of football which for a couple of years made us by far the best team in the land.

    It is so sad all our games weren`t filmed in the 1970s,Stanley scored a LOT of goals MUCH better than the ones we see being replayed on every tribute...if you weren`t there on the day to witness them they are lost forever.He scored some of the best direct free-kicks from outside the box I have ever seen,he could bend the ball a quite outrageous amount and his touch and accuracy had to be seen to be believed.

    Dave Clement was in the photo. He's sitting in the front row. RIP to both Stan and Dave. Stan was the best QPR player ever imho. Great player. RIP Stan, u will be missed by many.
